Is hell forever? NO! lets look at what Jesus says
Matthew 5:24-26 See also Luke 12:49-50 & Luke 12:57-59

Gods standard of Justice is an eye for an eye, not an eye for eternity. If one sin = eternal torment. It would be impossible for Jesus to pay for your sins. There is only a finite amount of sin in the universe. Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world. Jesus could only pay for the sins of the world if their wages of sin is finite, not infinite and eternal.

If the wages of sin is infinite and eternal it would be impossible to pay for just one of them, let alone all of them.

Think about this, Jesus suffering on the cross not only paid for the sins of the world at his present time but also the sins of the world thousands of years into the future. This is only possible if the penalty for sin if finite, an eye for an eye, not an eye for eternity.

If the wages of sin were to be dead forever, again Jesus did not pay that. If that were the penalty for sin, Jesus would have never raised from the dead.

Both eternal torment (never ending torture) and eternal death (never ending death) contradict the gospel, contradict what happened to Jesus on the cross and resurrection 3 days later.

The wages of sin is death, not infinite unending death (annihilationism) or infinite and unending torturer (eternal torment)

Now let us look at the verse Jesus is quoting here

Notice they are dead. Carcases are dead bodies. Look it up in other translations, they all day dead bodies. These people who experienced hell died.

Also most Christians believe that hell is eternal. If they would translate the word accurately Christians would shun the bible for being heretical when it is being accurate to what the Hebrew and Greek says. You cant translate the bible correctly because it contradicts mainstream Cristian dogma

Now the scriptures cannot be broken, I have showed numerous verses where hell is not forever, where those that go to hell are burned up and turn to ash. If the translators should have translated aion as age and eternal all the contradictions would go away.
