I think that’s missing the forest for the trees. The lack of good paying jobs in America has more to do with the exportation of jobs overseas than it does with immigrants coming and taking existing ones. When deciding to have children of our own I pointed out that my husband's family was literally homeless when he was 3 years old my parents were immigrants on welfare and section 8. it was no excuse since our current position was far better than our parents and our parents managed to raise us fine. And when our children are grown they will be in a better position than we were.

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. The problem is that we aren’t holding the massive corporations accountable that do this. As far as the Nordic countries are concerned, they seem to be capitalistic economies with larger social programs. We could adopt that but the problem is that whites are (statistically speaking) net contributors to the “welfare state” whereas non-whites are the biggest consumers of these programs. So I don’t think it would be realistic to do the Nordic model in the US because whites do not have a super majority (we are like 56% or less).

Poverty in America is still an objective high quality of life. If you raised them with passion and attention there's no reason to think their life wouldn't still be good.
