Power distribution, security, cheap homes like trailer construction and metal building components. Dollar General will be the new Walmart.

Am I right in saying security will be a big one for you guys over there if the economy takes a nose dive? Although I suppose everyones just packing heat anyway.

My savings can't wait for this recession. Gonna buy so many cheap assets for when shit gets back on track.

I wish I was in the same boat man. I've only just graduated so I'm still in the poor aisle. At least I can just put my head down and save for a while.

Closed property and equipment still need to be secured after the business stops until its sold or reopened. Id throw repossession in the list of recession-proof jobs.

Health care and funeral services.

Kike hunting.
Witch hunting.
Won't pay much but you can render their fat asses for bio fuel and sell the meat to the chinks. I'll use it for pig feed.

Treework and landscaping.

Any job related to lifestyle or disposable income the first to go. This means if you are in fitness, travel, high-end hospitality or retail, or something else you are fucked.

The next thing to go are redundant departments in big corporates or small to mid tier companies that are inefficient or are relying on some business existing that won't anymore. The rule here is that if your department or company isn't bringing in double what it is paid, then it's gone either through acquisition or restructuring.

The final thing to go is in the government or health industries. Government contractors are in the second category. Permanent government staff are usually unionized so they won't get touched and health workers are essential.

If you are a new graduate, you aren't getting a start until the market returns. So, take a masters or a doctorate and live off a stipend with your parents.

Correctional Officer.

Pay is meh, but the benefits are great, Free Health insurance.. cheap af dental/vision.. A nice pension.

I'll never get rich, but I'm comfy, and as long as the government doesn't completely collapse, I'll have a job.

I help supply you with clients.

I have a call center job, but I'm actually an escalation tech. It's not bad, just have to work from home. A nuke could be used and as long as it wasn't in my area I'd have to work, we're a service provider for local government

Teaching. I teach High School and have a PhD and will always make enough.

Loadsamoney did become a repo man after the housing market crashed

Telecom. When my industry fails, society fails

I’m a government contractor and I’m still working 40+ hours a week. The government doesn’t stop needing it’s contractors. Hell there’s more of us than actual government employees running most of these projects.

How good are you at sucking dick?

Pretty bad desu, why'd you ask?

White and christian? Look to the cemeteries. Lot of cemeteries need workers for ground upkeep and office work.

>The government doesn’t stop needing it’s contractors.
No shit, but it doesn't stop them from laying them off when they don't have the funding for projects then attempting to hire them back once the market is healthy again.

>Hell there’s more of us than actual government employees
In my limited experience with the federal government, the model they are going for is similar to large corporations. They have a handful of permanent, well paid employees that know the internal processes and business with enough technical knowledge to get by and there are 5-10x more contractors a fraction of the pay who do the job for them.

>recession proof job
There is no such thing. The jobs growth is in areas which the elites want you to work in - i.e. areas where you earn minimum wage and aren't a threat to them.

Elite piking is about to become a major growth industry.

HVAC niggers never die. As long as you like food, surgery and internet - were not going anywhere

Heaps good obviously, I'm OP

>Prosthetist/orthotist
Sup. I work in outpatient physical therapy. I thought my job was corona proof but I've been laid off because too many patients are refusing to come to appointments and I had low seniority. Even the hospital I do side work at is having low census due to elective (orthopedic) surgeries being postponed.
I suppose my job is likely recession proof, but I worry because I wouldn't have guess I'd have lost it to this virus. I guess we'll see.
