Nowhere and never because 3rd Generation Warfare has given way to 4th Generation Warfare.
I'll take ape tit for $200.
China vs. China as always.
*applause
Hopefully China. Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and the South East Asia countries where the Chinese are invading their economic maritime zones in the South China Sea.
What some people do not realize is that Covid-19 has likely increased the chance of another big war. It showed the problem with economic and industrial dependence on other countries which is one of the reasons that made a large scale war unlikely pre-2020. If economic/production relationships between countries deteriorate and are reduced to more acceptable levels to deal with the pandemic then the economic deterrence that was once in place will become weaker and weaker.
On top of this, the disease and the way China handled it seems to have caused a wave of anti-Chinese hate, which could make war with China more likely. Add to this that China seems to have mostly recovered while the West is struggling and you might have a recipe for disaster, a threatened declining giant like the USA is no joke.
Then again, we have nuclear deterrence and that has proved effective for decades so in my opinion it's still unlikely we will see a World War 3 in our lifetime.
For all we know, we're in it.
Right here, right now.
In all seriousness I have to think it's going to happen right there in your neck of the woods with China. They're building up for a massive naval war, and those ships are too goddamned expensive to build and maintain without being used, eventually.
My prediction is it'll be very short and decisive, with relatively few civilian casualties, but probably devastating naval losses for at least one side.
I don't think we'll ever see global wars between major powers that drag on for years and years ever again. We're going to return to the ancient paradigm of wars consisting of only one or two battles at most before a temporary armistice is called for.
That is, under the present world order. If the next war tips the balance and creates a new geopolitical situation, it could shift the paradigm of war yet again.
Interesting take. That's too bad, navy's for fags anyway.
Probably gonna be shortly after the next election when Trump wins and the left decides that our republic was secretly created by Russians so we have to replace it with a dictatorship so they can make sure people vote the correct way
Men were tiny in the 1940's, wtf happened?
All it will ever be is a series of highly coordinated, pinprick attacks by specialized, for profit, multinational military organizations with state overwatch.
The Peoples Republic of China vs The Republic if China

The great depression I believe.
and who is this nobody supposed to be?
one of those poor, poor american hero-generals that did jack shit but are still considered as gods by the americans for some reason?
Probably civil wars within Western Europe, Australia and North America within 20 years.
The elites want a war with Iran or China but they won't be able to find anyone to fight it for them.
A change of regime in China is necessary, otherwise their totalitarian practies will find their way in our cultural realm. We need USA to do something (they are the dogwatchers, we support).
Fucking never because all it nowadays is trade sanctions like a bunch of little bitches
Nice quads
chy-na
Mcarthur, the one that actually did shit in the Pacific

Yeah, whatever happened to those badass presidents like Theodore Roosevelt? If we had him as president, China, Israel and Saudi Arabia would be no more I'm sure.
