Because I went through a couple of gate programs due to transferring in the third grade to another district and kept running into the off campus teachers that did it in the previous district at my other schools which is kind of weird come to think of it. But Gate itself is not an empty hole in my memory.

mine although i don't believe in any conspiracy or recall anything too bizarre about it. i just got pulled out of class for an hour or two a week to learn more advanced concepts than the rest of my class.

Most of this was probably a program to identify kids with learning disabilities to shunt them out of public classes and into special ed courses. Near drowning, birth complications, propensity for mental disorders (like thinking you've been followed or shirt term memory issues) are all indicators of kids who might fail or disrupt classmates.

You're not special, youre not a psychic genius. You were a little weird and teachers wanted to boost their avg test score metrics to secure funding. So they took some aside to figure out of they could build encase for your autistic ass to be thrown out or moved.

I've followed these threads for years, but the thing that really got me is that in one of the recent threads a couple people claimed to have memories of something injected near the base knuckle of their right index fingers with a yellow needle. I have a slight lump in that precise place which I have often noticed. It cracks a bit when the weather is very cold. Always just considered it an everyday skin anomaly, but now I have to wonder.

Elementary school aside from my close-knit group, no. Middleschool when it was an on campus class that took over English class, yes. I can remember the lessons and teachers though, except for a couple odd guest teachers here and there.

we had a version of this in the uk, very similar experiences. probably a (((tavistock))) thing.

I remember Ms. Shimato and Ms. Kidsinger constantly popping up in my middle school and always running into them even though they were the teachers for it in another district for 1-3rd grade. I remember a lot of the lessons, there was always chess, origami, some kind of tiny science experiment, and usually a quiz where we were told a story and had to repeat verbatim passages back or answer without taking notes or reading it ourselves. Also I think that's your ring finger unless I'm looking at the wrong thing.

It was a real program. To pull weirdos and possible retards out of classes in order to identify who was who and lob the stupids into special ed classes that couldn't endanger the average % of kids passing classes in a particular school district.

We had it in canada too. It was called "Enrichment" they pulled me, the kid who liked trains and some girl that drew people funny. Turns out train kid and the girl were secret retards and they were moved to the retard school. I was diagnosed with ADD shortly afterwards.
