Are you the guy that has been driving around my neighborhood for the past two hours speeding and blowing the horn?

What do they do?

Yes. Tell your dad to come outside and no one gets hurt.

Trust me, DO NOT quit either of those cold turkey unless you want to burn out your serotonin receptors and live the rest of your life as a permanently emotionless freak.

You HAVE to taper yourselves off of them BY DESIGN.

t. Someone who got permanently fucked over by GSK.

YOU'RE FUCKED KID, AHHHH!!!! digis confirm

I'm listening. Traz is fucking horrible. I can't sleep with out it.

>I want to come off them all at once. How goes it?
Don't do that. The withdrawal symptoms are supposed to be awful. You have to taper off these types of medications.

Don’t know much about paxil, but trazaboner shouldn’t fry you if you quit cold turkey. I did and I’m fine. Effexor was a different story, I had to taper down because I kept getting the brain zaps.

Maybe you should talk to a doctor rather than Yas Forums about this subject?

Can someone give me a backstory of this pic. I've seen it forever

You could go cold turkey on them if you wanted. It wont hurt you but you may have withdraw and feel like shit. Weening is a better idea IMO. Why were do you want off them and why were you prescribed them user?

I just popped 100mg of trazadone 5 minutes ago. Who else is getting sleepy? *yawn* so tired...

Tranqs will fuck up your ability to sleep without them if you go cold turkey, but it will only be a temporary condition.

SSRI's will permanently fuck your brain chemistry up and the god damn things should be illegal.

If you're a parent and some faggy school psychiatrist recommends your kid go on that shit, you punch them right in their fucking despicable mouth.

Other than helping me sleep, I just can't find any positives with them...

>Are you the guy that has been driving around my neighborhood for the past two hours speeding and blowing the horn?
Weird, I've had people the last two days blowing their horn in my small town. Not sure if they used it to signal someone they were there, but two days in a row multiple times.

Enjoy a hellish withdrawal

Have you tired melatonin?

Force an erection that lasts over 4 hours

Taper down. This might be one of those times where you talk to your doctor.

The a psychological meds were all made and in China and they are running out.

>but two days in a row multiple times.
Like 6-8 times. Sometimes over a minute several times.
Also this. Melatonin works as well as getting off drugs. Alcohol made me unable to sleep well, it doesn't interact with other stuff. Get clean or find a better diet also. Sometimes you just aren't eating right. If you naturally don't sleep much then its just you, some people are fine on 4hrs a night.

>all at once
You will inflict suffering upon yourself like you've never imagined, especially if you do that with SSRIs and you were on a high dosage. You need to ween yourself off over the course of several weeks. If you have a psychiatrist that isn't cucked and won't try to convince you to stay on them; ask them for help.

Permanently? Damn. I was on SSRIs and SNRIs for about 5 years. I tapered off carefully under the supervision of a doctor and I'm off them completely now. Had withdrawal symptoms (occasional brain zaps and disorientation) for a few weeks after the final stage of titrating, but I'm fine now.

>Also this. Melatonin works as well as getting off drugs. Alcohol made me unable to sleep well, it doesn't interact with other stuff. Get clean or find a better diet also. Sometimes you just aren't eating right.
This is true

> If you naturally don't sleep much then its just you, some people are fine on 4hrs a night.

This not so much.

If you're only sleeping 4 hours a night there a 95% chance you're not getting enough sleep. If you cant manage to sleep you may need trazodone or zolpidem. If you're having night terrors prazosin could be an option as well. If you find natural supplements are enough for a good nights rest than all means but don't reject prescribed drugs for no reason.

You need to be firm when insisting what is and is not an option for you.

Also this. I 've had 7 seizures related to withdrawals, and failure to quit can lead to just quitting. I was gung ho about quitting no doubt, but could have done it better. Not a band aid you rip off, must be gradual most times.

Please don't. You'll just make my job harder when I have to meet you in the BHU and figure out why the fuck you were crawling around on all fours naked in the middle of traffic.

That's not true. SSRI's WILL affect the brain and require weening and are prescribed way too often but it wont permanently affect your brain. I don't know about kids on SSRIs but I have my doubts it will affect anyone permanently.

Taper off, dude. You'll be sorry if you don't.

What dose of paroxetine, and what dose of trazodone? Are you taking the paroxetine for depression or anxiety? Is the trazodone for sleep or depression?

I'm going to guess probably 20mg for the paroxetine, and 50-100mg for the trazodone?

I'm on 100mg of traz and 60mg of paxil

>paxil
They still prescribe that shit? I thought they quit that after it was linked to a bunch of suicides.

Just start taking half and then none? Consult your doctor or a different doctor on weaning yourself off those drugs.

You shouldn't take that stuff. I give my dog Trazadone before going to the vet or traveling. It zonks her out. Just smoke weed, drink water and tea, and take vitamin C and zinc (for covid defense)

'Antidepressants increased the risk compared to placebo of suicidal thinking and behavior (suicidality) in children, adolescents, and young adults in short-term studies of major depressive disorder (MDD) and other psychiatric disorders. Anyone considering the use of PAXIL or any other antidepressant in a child, adolescent, or young adult must balance this risk with the clinical need. Short-term studies did not show an increase in the risk of suicidality with antidepressants compared to placebo in adults beyond age 24; there was a reduction in risk with antidepressants compared to placebo in adults aged 65 and older. Depression and certain other psychiatric disorders are themselves associated with increases in the risk of suicide. Patients of all ages who are started on antidepressant therapy should be monitored appropriately and observed closely for clinical worsening, suicidality, or unusual changes in behavior. Families and caregivers should be advised of the need for close observation and communication with the prescriber. PAXIL is not approved for use in pediatric patients. (See WARNINGS: Clinical Worsening and Suicide Risk, PATIENT INFORMATION, and PRECAUTIONS: Pediatric Use.)'

>brain zaps
Wellbutrin
Should have told that bitch to keep her poison. Hellish.

Taper and you’ll be fine. The trazadone you can just stop without any problems. Get yourself some Kratom and make a switch quick, fuck the chemical jew

All of that stuff is cured by exercise. Imagine if you were a farmhand doing physical labor all day, you would have no problem falling fast asleep and sleeping 8-10 hours straight. Your body just needs to expend more energy, like a husky or a horse, they're supposed to run like 8 miles a day

I was put on Paxil at 16. Wasn’t fun.
