This is simply insane. He vastly, hilariously, absurdly underestimates the the amount of resistance this idea will be met with by normal people, even ones who are not particularly religious. Because he thinks everyone these days is a smug atheist nerd like himself and everyone he knows. And apparently no one has had a come-to-jesus moment with Bill to tell him it's time to come down from that cloud he's living in .
The idea might be met with resistance, but the actual act won't be. Far too many take the situation they are given, just like we're doing so now.
