>Be me >Generally healthy, mid 20s, well-controlled asthma >Start coofing at the start of March >Start getting body aches, lung pain (didn't even know it was possible before this), difficulty breathing a week after >coof gets significantly worse >Can barely talk without bursting into coofing fit >See a doc >Tells me that she assumes it's Corona, but my state isn't testing anyone not in hospitals >Feel like hell, but have inhaler and know it's not like I'm going to die >Fastforward to this afternoon >No more body aches, almost barely coof, overall feel much, much better That's when I fucked up, pol. >Work as a video/audio editor >Haven't been able to do much of anything for like a month and a half because I couldn't talk without fucking coughing. >Was finally feeling nearly back to normal again today >Fuck it may as well try to record something. >Spent a few hours working on stuff >Suddenly I felt SUPER lightheaded and sick. >Run to my room, half fall on to my bed >Can't open my eyes, can barely move >Lay in bed >Finally come-to and sit up >Coughing, wheezing, lightheaded >Try to take a deep breath >Lung capacity is completely fucked >Down my inhaler like it's the only thing that matters in the world >Finally stabilize >Try again to take a deep breath >Break out in to a coughing fit Even after """"recovering"""" from Corona, I now feel like shit again. I'm fucking praying that I just pushed myself too hard too fast and that it gets better, because if not I don't know what I'm going to do. FUCK. >tl;dr Doc assumes I got Corona, also have asthma, pretty sick for weeks, finally started feeling better this last week, tried to record some audio today, blacked out on my bed, now can barely breathe.
It's not like I'll die from this bullshit; I actually am pretty healthy. More just worried that it'll have a long term impact on my lungs. Which is why I wanted to post... the death numbers and recovered cases don't talk about the long term effects this bullshit can have.

Get an O2 pulse oximeter, fren, and check your O2 when you're feeling weak/out of breath.
But yes, breathlessness and weakness are common symptoms after viral pneumonia, and it can take about a year or more to start getting better.
Isaac Phillips
Your doctor was full of shit. Demand a fucking CT scan of your lungs pronto. It could just be your mind being your own worst memory. Depending on the CT scan results, your future steps will be determined. Of course, make sure the Radiologist isn't infected before you get a CT scan of your lungs. However, vtry not to assume worst scenario. I want to let you know people can due from shock even from non-fatal injuries. The mind is a strength but a weakness. Get a second opinion

This. Corona Chan targets liars.
Lincoln Russell
Thanks Aussiebro. Lived in Sydney/Melbourne for a few years, you're all better people than us. >shill What the fuck would I even be shilling? You can believe me or not, doesn't effect me. But know what words mean before you use them, faggot.
Lucas Hill
Asthma isn't a bad co-morbidity with this, ironically.
Obesity, hypertension and diabetes are the ones that increase severity.
Jason Wright
Corona really chews up the lungs sometimes.
Owen Perez
>feel like shit >suddenly better >then suddenly feel even shittier than the first time You weren't recovered you dumb fucker, this is the pattern ALL Corona cases follow. You could have paid any attention over the last couple months and known this.
Nathan Phillips
I should've included that it was some fucking virtual ER doc. She talked to me for like 20 minutes, prescribed me Benzonatate, said word for word "You're young, you'll be ok", and that was it. Unironically going to follow that advice. You're completely right; it could just be my mental fucking with me. Or it could actually be fucking my lungs. I don't know anymore. Everything's confusing, nothing feels real, we're all gonna die eventually. Ty for taking the time, user.
Ian Watson
I had flu in December and am still not fully recovered. Doctor said same thing, it can take a year. Wtf that's crazy
Andrew Lewis
I feel for you, OP. >Dull headache for three days >Body aches >wet coof for ten days >I'm a smoker though >Feel better now, just bored >Have been taking a ton of Airborne and OJ. >Constipated even though high doses of vitamin C. >Negress jokingly yells at me because I got the last gallon of OJ the other day at BJ's >Constipation is actually regular poo because vodka You will get through it, user Megadose vitamin C
Connor Ortiz
>wasn't tested >already owned an inhaler THEN YOU DON'T KNOW YOU HAD THE VIRUS, DIPSHIT. WHY DO YOU PEOPLE MAKE THESE RETARDED ASSUMPTIONS? IT'S CALLED HYPOCHONDRIA, FUCK OFF.
Josiah Fisher
What's your BMI?
Michael Rivera
mouthbreathers want to feel special and prosecuted, so they make up ailments about them in their head
Brody Perry
>virtual ER what?
Jack Sanders
That's kinda what I'd been hearing. I guess that's why I didn't take it as seriously as maybe I should've; I didn't (and still don't) think I'm gonna die. Just didn't consider the other aspects. Yeah, guess I got cocky. Stupid fucking "Shit like that doesn't happen to *me*" mentatlity.
Justin Foster
Yes.
It took me 3 years to recover from viral pneumonia from RSV when I was 3, and kids recover better from most things.
Lots of people are going to be in for a rough time, and this is the "mild" to "moderate" cases. The severe cases that survive most likely won't be able to work again.
Isaac Hughes
>Generally healthy >well-controlled asthma lol no healthy people don't have asthma ya idiot
Bentley Perez
>I didn't (and still don't) think I'm gonna die. Just didn't consider the other aspects.
You won't, rather you just have the road of recovery ahead. Try to avoid getting influenza or something, though, as you'll be weak now.
