Yes, because it should be common for the average Canadian to never be able to afford property, and the lucky minority who are able to afford property that is not infested with crime, poverty or racial minorities or involves more than an hour commuting, it will cost them half their life time earnings and can range up yo higher than 7 figures. Potential Canadian homeowners should just accept this new "normal" when previous generations could afford homes with a single parent working full-time that didn't require a degree or nepotistic connections.
