A lot of Republicans actually voted today for Trump in the GOP primaries, so it's not like they all stayed home. They just lost.

She only won because republicans had no other reason to go out during this pandemic. Republican turnout was down over 50% compared to 2016 compared to 6% for the dems And unfortunately people dont see the extreme importance in supreme court justices.

At the time of voting bernie hadnt dropped out because the DNC knew they needed a contest for people to show up.

It was also why 2 months ago when they announced they where going to run the primary and supreme court election on same ballot on the same day republicans brought formal complaints. Unfortunately they didnt go anywhere.
