I've read both the regular Bible and the Satanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey. The Republican Party seems to resemble the Satanic Bible more than the regular Bible. Hedonism, selfishness, indulgence, pleasure, anti-authoritarianism, laissez-faire capitalism, libertarianism, social Darwinism, hatred of the poor, and an obsession with "might is right".
