14 of my 22 tenants are refusing to pay rent. Can't evict, courts are closed. I still have to make mortgage payments. This isn’t right. I am a human being that worked hard and bought rental properties so I could comfortably retire and tend to my passions. Now I could potentially lose my life’s work because of slackers who live hand to mouth and refuse to have emergency funds like responsible members of society. I have a family to feed to, why shouldn’t I get paid? Why should I subsidise other people’s shelter from my own pocket? When are property owners getting OUR bailout? It's NOT fair
I have enough emergency funds to cover five maybe six tenants not paying their rent but 14? 14! Why should I wipe out MY savings over this? Landlords are entitled to a larger check for EACH MONTH of the shutdown.
Evict them personally. Use intimidation and violence. Renters WILL pay one way or another.
Jayden Ward
Turn around 180 degrees and blame the government for not bailing out your business when they are giving billions and billions to other businesses.
Lucas Gutierrez
boycott your mortgage, dummy. capitalism as we know it is dead. cope
Wyatt Nelson
Stop paying their utilities.
Cut off their power, water, sewer, cable, heat, whatever you pay, stop paying it. Stop doing lawn maintenance. Stop responding to their maintenance requests. Just stop everything. You're not being paid for it. What are they gonna do - withhold rent? They already are. Take you to court? LOL.

Get fucked you parasitic jew.
Jacob Roberts
Friendly reminder that only Jews are landlords. Should've found a better source of income that doesn't drain society much like the banks. You guys are part of the reason housing has become so unaffordable in many areas.
In other words go fuck yourself. I don't feel bad for you or the niggers you rent to.

I paid 1/2 of the rent. In negotiating with my landlord I’ve discovered the true cost of the unit I rent. Landlord agreed to place rent at new rate. This rate will now be the rate I will pay for the rest of my time here. if my landlord disagrees I will move out. Let’s see them try to get new renters into this NY apt at that old rate. They’ll be sitting on a vacant unit for a year.

Kek u facking boomer.

based. i haven't paid my landlord either. he needs to nut up and kill me
Juan Lee
Sounds like you have a failed investment. That sucks bro. Maybe get a job until your investment starts paying out again. In the future maybe you shouldn't rent something you don't fully own?
wew, a rent seeker, the absolute vampires of the modern F.I.R.E economy.
Cameron Murphy
Everyones out of work, I say hire some goons to evict them. Change the locks, shut off utilities. With the courts closed they can only cry to the police.
Ryder Murphy
>landlord who sits on his ass stacking Legos and writing hentai all day affected by the reality that most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck >when the government shuts down their sources of income the people can no longer fund his lifestyle because they weren't paid enough during times of prosperity to have emergency funds >landlord call them lazy, demands they and the government continue to fund his life and keep his investments in the black >meanwhile all 22 of his tenants wish they had a single place to call home while this faggot has several he's renting out Greed fucks us all in the end
Ryder Rivera
>emergency funds like responsible members of society Where is yours?
Anthony Cook
Why don't you have an emergency fund for situations like this, huh?
Jason Martinez
Sell it, let's say at 30% of the price. You have had your part, unless of course you plan to control the masses which will not ever happen.
Benjamin Rodriguez
>What is an investment? Guess what faggot? Sometimes investments don't work out. Landlords need to die in a grease fire.
Do a house check and when you do it pour buckets of human feces all over the person refusing to pay rent. Then take their belongings and sell them until their rent is paid. Then sell more and keep it because those who aren't paying are garbage dumpsters
Leo Nguyen
>1 post by this id >another landlord slide thread Stop bumping this shitty bait you morons.
Jonathan Collins
Why didn't you insure against non payment of rent?
Like a 'responsible' landlord.

This. Should have had pandemic insurance.

I can't believe we had actual land leeches complaining about welfare niggers here like they were actually doing something. Bitch, you are as bad as them, get off your ass and find a real job!
Sadly this is the answer. I’m a renter at 28 because I was a degenerate up until 23 and didn’t make the best choices financially even up until now. I was just trying to get to a point where I could finally make enough money not to live paycheck to paycheck and when I finally do this shit happens before I could get anything substantial put away. I’m lucky I’m still working through all this shit being in an essential trade but shots slowed down and the economies fucked and things need to go back to normal ASAP or I’m fucked.
Parker Smith
WAAAHHH BOOO HOOO grab yourself up by the bootstraps cowgirl, you need to accept some personal responsibility. you chose to make money by dealing with shitheads instead of something more reliable. you could have been more self sufficient but you chose to slack off and now that its blowing up in your face your entitled ass wants a handout. I hope you never make a cent ever again you lazy piece of shit. your entire generation are worthless entitled morons.
Robert Gonzalez
Take out a low interest government loan. You took a risk and it hasn’t been ideal. Taking a mortgage out is a calculated risk for anyone - why should you be pitied? If I lose my job I lose my house if I do not do something to procure more income. You’re going to lose your apartments if you a) do not talk to your mortgage company and you yourself ask for deferred payments since you did not calculate your own financial situation ask your tenants. You are in the same boat they are.
Lucas Morris
Awwwww you poor societal leech. Maybe try working for a living?
>*banker lightening Any proprietor of a rental property with that many units should not need the money for personal finance maintenance of any kind -- you speculated in the stock market and real estate, now eat crow
