How do Christians cope with the fact that there are hundreds of denominations and nobody knows which one is guaranteed to bring them to heaven?

What kind of half assed answer is that? Everyone inteprets the bible however they like.
Because smart Christians know that denominations are dumb and that belief in Christ and doing your best to live up to Christian values is all that’s required.
Which translation?
>knows which one is guaranteed to bring them to heaven?
Christianity is about the Truth, not Heaven. And Jesus' message is recorded, you can read it for yourself.
Thats bullshit. Catholicism brings you to heaven.
There's maybe 5 major denominations that come from early apostolic christianity and then thousands spawned from protestantism invented in the 1500s. You soon see that the actual choice boils down to which side of the early schisms you are on. Pro tip matthew 16:18
Kek
Based.
They don't because they're too retarded to even understand what you just said, I tried explaining to a Christian girl that her view means 99% of people are going to be tortured forever and she made no reaction whatsoever. I respect that a few Christians are smart people who just haven't been able to shake off values that were beaten into them growing up, it can be a hard thing to do, but the vast majority of them are simply retarded and have never really questioned any of this nonsense.
ok just did
christcucks still can't make up their mind after thousands of years of studying
So Christcucks cherrypick verses from the Talmud while ignoring this?
What about people who died before that homeless jew hippie was born?
I'm not God, why are you asking me?
>Christcucks
>talmud
Huh? you dumb?
They're burning in hell because they were born in the wrong age, except. So sad.
>They're burning in hell because they were born in the wrong age, except. So sad.
Except the (good) jews who Jesus freed from hell when he died
You mentioned him
It's a double-whammy because this is in the part of the bible that Jews also believe in. The old testament is literally just a poorly written string of absurd and fucked up events with no unifying message, the reason for this is that it was made up out of order by kikes to serve the purposes of their country. The new testament doesn't have such a retarded writing style to it but it's still just all over the fucking place with no clear takeaway apart from 'so this jesus guy is pretty important, huh?'
I don't think anyone who read the bible cover-to-cover (not that many people have) could honestly expect you to do the same and come to the same view, or even any established view. It's literally just a bunch of crap stuck together, even Islam has a pretty clear message in their holy book since it was (supposedly) written by a single author with a goal in mind.
Pretty sure he's saying "you guys go on about how fucked up jews are but you are too"
Of course they know, its always their particular denomination which is the right one.
A lot of Talmud verses are direct and too the point, they're also the direct opinion of the writer. This bible verse is a part of a story and was not the writers nor God's will, the daughters sinned.
You're right OP. This is a huge problem for Protestants to deal with. You're already seeing the cope in this thread as they realize their church has no connection to the apostolic lineage at all.
The OT is literally bronze age kike power fantasy where the jews always defy their God but the God somehow always forgives the least guilty tribe of the bunch and lets it reproduce, so they can split in more tribes and defy God again and the luckiest tribe will be forgiven again, rinse and repeat.
Most of them are confused between the meaning of the kingdom of God and "heaven". It's pretty sad that most "christians" are completely unaware of many of these details because the spend all of their time listening to preachers that are mostly interested in keeping the doors opened.
All religions have been subjected to the usual divide and conquer crap that goes on everywhere. It’s time people banded together and put differences aside.
oh look, it's the "non-denominational" denomination.
By practicing the faith until inner insights yield what it's all about. Once you know, you know, and you realize all the different denominations are metaphors for what's going on within the heart. All religion is ultimately about gnosis.
Yeah basically, but you have to understand historigraphy too. The story of Abraham literally came after the story of Moses because it was invented retroactively when the Jews claim to ownership of Judea through descent from Moses started to weak due to them having been kicked out for a while and another group moving in.
(Obviously I'm simplifying a complicated issue but look into it for yourself and you'll see how fucking weird it is, and you'll question why no one has made you aware of this before)
>some dead jew on a stick told me his dad is a canaanite war god and this is still relevant 2000 years later
awesome
No one's saying that God wanted that to happen, though the previous few pages establish that God thought Lot was a pretty good guy, and presumably his family by extension.
The point is the bible just has a lot of weird shit in it for no clear reason. If I recall correctly, there isn't even some part of the story where it becomes clear that God had a problem with that. He certainly didn't help resolve the fucked up situation. There is nothing that connects to a grander moral message, or even much of a 'plot'.
Seriously, find the nearest bible and start reading it from page one. It will be a very, very long time before you get to any cutesy ideas that Christians claim is the main idea. I doubt you will even get that far as it is a real slog, it's just sincerely bad writing.
Gnosticism is heresy to christians
In the end it was written to bolster the pride of the jews and put them above the other races. OT is basically jews trying to jew other jews and their neighboring kingdoms.
Just B.E. yourself, bro.
(Here is an artistic representation of the internal monologue of a reasonable, thinking person desperately trying to find any sense in Christianity)
You have entire history before you.. and yet continue worshiping a Jewish magician.. might as well star following muhammed then..
That's a funny pic but I don't think it's quite accurate, Rome was doomed before it adopted Christianity. There is no logically consistent take on Christianity having any sort of a 'moral' impact on Rome's collapse either way, the guy who finally conquered the city of Rome was a Christian.
