Americans earn more and are taxed less than Europeans. The price of goods and services is also less. American's should be far more prosperous than Europeans.
But why are so many Americans in extreme poverty, that you don't see in Europe? Why do so many not have $1,000 in their bank accounts? In my opinion it is NOT the fault of capitalism/whatever economic system we have.

It's my opinion that our economic system is superior to Europe's, but that's besides the point. I think we can all agree, however, that America has a major cultural/racial problem, not an economic one.

A lot of poor people see the funds deprived from poor people and say an injustice as occurred. But the economic mathematicians see a loser spending all his money and producing negative outcomes and see the poverty there and say "My God, that's not a breakdown, it's the masterstroke".
The reason socialism fails is because of the non contributing free rider. Capitalism shows everyone who those free riders are by the question: "how much money do you have?". If none, you produce negative value outcomes. If positive, then positive (on average).
You want to take money away from the people creating positive outcomes for others, and you want to give it to the people who create negative value outcomes for themselves and others.

About 12% are considered under the poverty line, but a lot of things dont go into your income. Things like child support arent reported. Asian median income is almost 90k, whites 70k, Hispanics 50k, blacks 40k. So you can see where the poverty trend tends to happen. It also comes down to personal finance. Blacks tend to not save. Same with women of all races (except asians for some reason). Big consumers. System works fairly well.

It’s something I realized now in my 30s, took a while I know, iduring my 20s I would wasted 400 dollars on a weekend night out and then be broke for the next week, I would pay all my bills and the rest I would waste partying. Was it stupid? Yes but it was also fun and I wouldn’t have experienced as much if it wasn’t for my irresponsibility. Now I’m in my 30s but I can be responsible without feeling like I missed out. Yes America requires money to experience it, a lot of people go broke for it.
