The people becoming unemployed are mostly unskilled laborers in restaurants and hotels. These people simply do not have the education to do most jobs. Having one of those people share my job for example (finance executive) would be a disaster.
Maybe they can become construction workers on infrastructure projects? Or work in amazon warehouses?
Some might protest that these people can be educated and move up to higher jobs... true SOME of them can. But in my company we have a hard time finding quality people even among the college educated and people with work experience. The simple truth is that most people are lazy and shirk taking the initiative and thinking on their own to make decisions. These people who are unemployed now are even worse than that. I would never hire any of them except in exceptional cases.
