Sorry about the low cut and paste skills

majority of people were old or had underlying conditions, it's bad but don't peddle misleading numbers

Supposedly 45% of the deaths in belgium are from elder care homes.

Case-fatality ratio for the common flu is between 0,1% - 0,3%
Case-fatality ratio for the Spanish flu was between 3,00% - 10,00%

Supposedly most of the deaths were also among the elderly and sick, so what does that does that have to do with anything.

If you survive being intubated and put in a ventilator you are going to get chronic damage to your lungs. People on respirators are often put in a chemically induced coma.
In countries without respirators they die. These are young people.

case-population is bullshit, since nobody is tested and virtually everybody catched this thing 3 months ago. now get fucked with your hoax, retard

>majority of people were old or had underlying conditions
most of people who die during pandemics usually have underlying conditions. The difference between corona and other pandemics is that corona doesn't seem to follow this pattern.
Those who get the viral pneumonia by Corona can be anyone, a lot of younger people need respirators (artificial breathing) in order to survive. This causes permanent damage to their lungs.
The long term effect of this, 5-10 years down the road is that even more people will die as a direct result of the heart and lung damage they get because of the Corona infection.

>since nobody is tested and virtually everybody catched this thing 3 months ago
Okay, let's think this through critically.
If everyone has it then every old peoples home is infected, which means that at least some of the people there die.
Since this is not the case so far, because we know that most of the people in old peoples homes die when they catch this. Then it is obvious that not all regions have caught it yet.
Which means isolation works.

>If everyone has it then every old peoples home is infected
nobody hangs out with old people retard

bruh don't worry about it bruh its just a flu lol

>nobody hangs out with old people retard
except the people who work with them brainlet

Case fatality numbers are worthless dogshit. The fact that most people who get this shit have very mild symptoms and don't bother getting tested makes this faggot little virus appear much worse than it actually is. It's a big, fat nothingburger, it can't even compete with the flu.

If you only cases for people on their fucking death bed, yeah, you're going to have high case fatality rates.

>case fatality rate in Australia

>Since this is not the case so far
Actually so far a pretty normal number of old people have died of general respiratory illnesses this year in most country.
>most of the people in old peoples homes die when they catch this
You cannot prove this statement because you do not know whether this illness has already gone through a nursing home unnoticed. If you're going to tell me that it can't be unnoticed because it's dangerous then you're literally just pulling shit out of your ass. Apparently to you it's dangerous because everyone dies, and if nobody is dying, well then it's because they just haven't caught it yet.

You bring shame on your country.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_hoc_ergo_propter_hoc

>Post hoc ergo propter hoc is an informal fallacy that states: "Since event Y followed event X, event Y must have been caused by event X."

the people who die in the first phase of infection is the weak and elderly, so they will sometimes die before being put in a respirator. Some adults and young adults who catch the viral pneumonia caused by corona, which antibiotics does Not cure, will require a respirator and intubation and will die without it. Recovery for the worst cases will be impossible for some of these.

>Australia
Is it in an early phase?
You need to go back 4 weeks ago and look at the number of active cases.
How many of those died and how many are recovering.

>You cannot prove this
.. okay?

So first you claimed to be thinking critically, and now you're admitting you have no way of actually proving anything.

Go jump into a fucking fjord.

Real death rate is 1-2%
There are 10x the number of cases, we only count the 10% that requires ospitalization.
10% of this 10% dies.
Pepole that don't look like having the flu can be carrriers, and you can end up being part of the 10%.
Around 1-2M italians actually had this flu ( 2-4% of the population).
Do not believe China numbers

An Italian is telling us not to trust the numbers from other countries.

>you do not know whether this illness has already gone through a nursing home unnoticed.
I can only use what little i have read about this and my own knowledge which is based on examples of the medical incompetence of nurses who transmit this virus to faculties housing the elderly, most of them become severely ill, some if not most of them die.
This is a serious virus.
It is not a influensa N-type virus. It is a virus related to Sars and Mers so it is much more severe.
If you dont believe me then that is okay, you're not required to believe me. nobody is forcing you to believe anything.

>Actually so far a pretty normal number of old people have died of general respiratory illnesses this year in most country.
That's strange because Corona is a respiratory virus and it has severe implications for the elderly.
Are you thinking about the flu, which is also ongoing, see A(H1N1)pdm09, B/Victoria, A(H3N2)
Corona is not the common flu.

Yes, especially with those who have something at stake like china and Japan.
Our studies conducted on the initial lockdown zone estimate that around 85% of the infected never required hospitalization, having mild or no symptoms.

I'm using data from John Hopkins.
>There are 10x the number of cases, we only count the 10% that requires ospitalization.10% of this 10% dies.
How can you know there are 10x the number of cases if you're not testing.
How come the CFR is the same across all of the countries i listed?

>Do not believe China numbers
Nobody serious about prevention of this virus uses the official numbers from china, this is about case fatality rate in specific western countries.
The chinese authorities obviously numbers downpaly the severity of the virus.

Lmao, the “case fatality rate” literally varies wildly from country to country depending on how many of the people that are actually infected get tested and treated. It’s 90% in Ireland. I estimate the real number is less than 1%.

Attached: mwah.png (874x658, 183.36K)

>85% of the infected never required hospitalization, having mild or no sympto
Okay so by that logic, 85% of all medical staff who Catch the virus, not all in general, does not require any treatment and show no or mild symptoms.

Why are the Euros so weak?
Japanese don't have this fatality rate
We have the oldest population in Asia
One in three Japanese men smoke
Japanese didn't even stop going to work
We were one of the first to have it
We don't even have close to 10,000 cases yet
Each of your countries have over 10,000 dead
Why is Europe so full of pussies?
I thought you were manly Vikings, but look at yourselves

>Yes, especially with those who have something at stake like china and Japan.
Literally every fucking country has their economy at stake by maintaining their lockdowns.

Ireland is also a newcommer to the virus

The Case fatality rate for Italy was around 10% one month ago
