Is time travel possible?

Is time travel possible?

The transfer of ideas in conciousness through "time", yes. Timetravel? Eh.

yes of course just pop a xanax

We are all time traveling in real time durrrr

If I say no, I risk being proven wrong.
If I say yes, it is impossible to prove me wrong, I can just keep saying "but we don't know how yet"

not in the ways we want it, so no

Dad?

Time is relative and bodies traveling closer to the speed of light "age" at a lesser rate than stationary bodies. If this counts.

Into the future yes, not even a theory. Into the past, plausibly...but they don't want you to learn about tachyons. The method used in "Avengers" is unironically the closest to "reality".

>they don't want you to learn about tachyons
>make it the main plot of the most popular movie of the decade

Yes, I am from 1926 originally, before I was brought forward.

Yes, but CERN is keeping it a secret.

You can travel slower, even stop time, but we dont know if we can reverse it.

Yes. And as a civilization we should be examining it far more than we are now. Physics is one of the most important fields of research.

No, if it was we would have thousands of time travelers from the future here RIGHT NOW

I answered this question tomorrow and you still want to ask it yesterday. Here and now.

nigga u bedda travel back in tim n retern that fuckin sweata nigga

but would we? or would it be linear to us?

Not possible in a material body.

We're traveling forward through time constantly. If you move faster you move through time faster, so less time appears to have passed for you. As you approach the speed of light, you also move through time which makes it appear as though you're slowing down to an outside observer. Kind of like being near a black hole. Point is we're always travelling forward through time. Now, going backward? It would need something like negative gravity. Rather than a dip in spacetime, a rise. So antigravity maybe? Who knows?

travel in time forward? yes, simply accelerate close to the speed of light backward seems impossible though

Based and 5th dimensional pilled.

I'm not sure if you can physically travel through time. You can rearrange moments in time or distort them tho.

Yes John titor

I'm gonna make a Fermi's paradox argument.

If time travel is possible then how come nobody ever meets people from the future? Where are all the time travellers?

Easy, I've already looked into it

There is no time, it is an illusion. All there is are the particular arrangements of matter in the universe which changes from one state to the next and could change back again.

I wonder if someone has to set the scientific laws of time or if such thing exists to further understand time travel

Napoleon didn’t do jack shit but get like 120v at 10A to the balls you dumbfuck

Yes there's an old family descended from Bavarian clock makers who have been time travelling for a a long time. One of them is very well known
