Hello Yas Forums. I am a frequent user (been here for years) and about to be homeless after this month and have 3.5k in the bank. I am 20 years old, white, and have a GED with 12 college credits. My family has reached new levels of toxicity and staying here is no longer an option.
Mods, please take it easy because this may be my final thread. I am a pol vet.
If anyone has any job offers or strategy’s on where to move, please let me know. I am in Miami, FL. I do not own a car.
start a hot dog selling company. my buddy brought in 1500 profit posting outside of a home depot yesterday.
Nathan Smith
he literally sold over 200 hotdogs in a day, just get a grill and cheap hot dogs bro.
Wyatt Sanchez
How about you stop arguing with your parents.

Gay porn. They pay at least 1500 per scene as an amateur

You’re fucked without a car in south florida, best bet is go get an apartment off the metrorail in NW dade in the Hood or an efficiency somewhere in Hialeah built behind some Cubans house. Do you have a job?
Elijah Myers
Was working on campus but it got closed. Not anymore. By Coral Gables
William Cook
7.50 for a hot dog? Think your bro might be slinging a different kind of sausage, my dude
Brayden Price
might want to look into local regulations on this.

Best to prepare your body and mind. train yourself to eat one meal a day. buzz cut your head so you don't need to shower often, wash pits and balls with a cold water rag once a week (showering with soap/shampoo is a consoomer meme. buy a cheap, small and fuel efficient pick up truck (old toyota, mazda b5, etc) with a cap on the back or buy the cap. put a mattress in the back to sleep on. now you are mobile, drive to an area where you can find work and work as much as possible. while you work learn some skills on the side. i've literally been there, it's not so bad
Landon Butler
you’ll need to live somewhere on a public transit line whether it be bus or rail, ever consider driving a scooter? i had one before I bought my car and it was kinda awesome except when it rained, didn’t need a special license or insurance. restaraunt work is easy as fuck once things get back to normal, whenever that may be. I was homeless in my car for a while, slept in my car in little havana a lot in a walgreens lot, backed up in a corner spot and there was a huge wall behind me and I had a good sight of anyone coming at me, never was bothered though.

Every thing in this post is based, except for falling for the gay truck meme. Get yourself a cargo van instead user. It's infinitely Superior
Asher Brooks
tons of cheap vans and trucks in florida because the old. i'm not kidding. buy one to live in while you get on your feet. eat once a day, washing with a rag and cold water you'll be fine. be sure to dress well so nobody knows you're living in a vehicle. look online for a security guard job, etc. take a look, this thing is money. just take the back seats out and put down a nice camping mattress from REI:
Thank you for the advice. I’ll write it down now. Don’t have a license, no criminal record either btw. I’m actually a very reserved person. I don’t really want to be in FL anymore if it’s possible. I’ll look into that Going to start scouring Craig’s list. Never used it more than a couple of times. Thank you man I seriously appreciate it. All feels surreal.
Angel Green
move to Tennessee that’s what I did. half the cost of living double the space. I miss miami a lot but it’s just so expensive.
Jaxon Gomez
Buy a crypto called chainlink. Thank /biz later

Join the fucking military, dumb ass

cargo van is good... so is a mini van like this below. all depends on how much gear you have. Also learn to be minimal, user. pack only what you need. i traveled around the entire world in a 35L backpack:
Go work on boats. They will let you live on board and get drunk with them. Good money too.
Asher Carter
knoxville, great city but growing fast, still cheap apartments in the area too everything you can want
Samuel Roberts
It's so strange to imagine not being able to apply for state support and have your rent and licing costs paid. A rich state can not simply let its citizens go homeless - it brings so many risks and is so easily preventable in lost cases.
Joshua Bailey
Literally same issue here, except i'm in Oregon. rip
Josiah Nguyen
Move to Hawaii and live on the beach with the rest of the bums. Or join a farm that does WWOOFing, you can work on a farm there for room and board.
Jonathan Ortiz
Boats man. Boat work gets you big money and free living cost
Owen Edwards
Join trades or get into fields that will pay you good money and just do them
Chase Hill
I don't know anything about boats. Could you elaborate for someone like me who has no other options and is kind of interested?
Aiden King
In order to receive state benefits for being unemployed in the US you need to prove residency in the state, so if you're homeless you don't have an address which is required to prove residency, so you literally can not get support when you're homeless if you can't prove you have an address. LOGIC

Boat industry has huge demand for labour and little supply
Boat industry is full of crazy old dudes who r kinda fucked in the head but also really kind so they tolerate all sorts of shit on your part.
Lots of positions will allow you to live onboard and so you don't spend any money. There is also good pay. Depending on whether you go to college (often paid by companies) to become an officer or just become a grunt deckhand, wages are good. We're talking 60k out of highschool and 100k as an officer good, 200k as a career officer with experience

>I do not own a car. >3.5k in the bank
So buy a shit box that runs good for $1k and hit the highway. Gas is cheap as fuck right now. I just filled up for $2.18/gal. Get on craigslist and look for jobs in different areas and just go. >With a car you can go anywhere
> about to be homeless after this month and have 3.5k in the bank. I am 20 years old, white, and have a GED with 12 college credits.

You have enough money to get a cheap RV or you can buy a truck with a camper. Keep it around $1000. Plates and insurance will have you at around $1500 to start out if you do it right.
Being homeless has its benefits. Get your address changed to "general delivery" on your license. Sign up for FAFSA if you haven't already. College courses for the homeless are free when you fill out the waivers.

This. I was in a similar situation 5 years ago. 19 years old, lost and angsty. Join the Marines bro.
Also, the post-9/11 GI bill will get you a free college education and stipend afterwards
Juan Clark
It's also a beautiful lifestyle where you learn navigation and get to travel and get good free time. You're away from home a lot but you have lots of off time. And the community is there, sailors are like family. Best drinking buddies ever.
James Ross
hate to say it because serving ZOG and all, but honestly if you have to get the fuck out OP this is the only realistic option. Just do something POGy I guess
Leo Walker
Get a planet fitness membership for $10/mo, when gyms open back up you can still shower daily and keep yourself in shape (even though that chain has shit equipment). Live in a van in a Walmart parking lot. You can work the national park circuit, where they will give a room to stay in or an RV spot for much less than normal rent.

if you can earn a little money at a temp gig and eventually make your way to the pacific northwest you could go work at a fish processing plant this summer in alaska. it's total shit work and doesn't pay very well but you'll get room and board and be able to save money because there is no place to spend it. having a place to stay and get away from everyone local is always huge at your age. this place is doing remote interviews, if you have a pulse you can get a job there:
It's called industries where you will get paid and be lodged and fed for free.
Jason Turner
How reliable is a $1k car really, will it really last for even 3 months?
Landon Reyes
Kek
Jack Kelly
Manual transmission toyota. Will last longer than you will
Christian Moore
where would you even start to look for this kind of work?
Easton Bennett
I meant the consecutive digits, user. I'm not too retarded to understand the concept of paid work and room and board.
Alexander Perez
It's probably one of the worst times to look for a regular job besides in nursing or at Amazon at the moment. Maybe you can set up a shopping service for boomers in quarantine.

military is the most sure way to improve your standard of living in the west.
There are very good vet benefits and shit-holes like chicago and st louis are more dangerous than even hot combat zones.
Joseph Nguyen
google 'boat jobs' for wherever you wanna work
The jobs are out there, there's a lack of labour in the industry. You can also just go and talk to them, some of these dudes are old fashioned but they'll hire you
Sebastian Robinson
>How reliable is a $1k car really, will it really last for even 3 months?
Let's hope he knows enough about cars to buy something that will get him over the hump.

File a workers' comp claim. If you have worked within the last year in California you can still file a claim and get 1 years worth of 2/3 your normal pay, when you were working. Florida may be similar.
Deal with the toxicity and move out when you can support yourself. Stop being a stupid entitled zoomie.
Jonathan Hall
>Manual transmission toyota. Will last longer than you will
This, but stick shifts are harder to come by these days.
Xavier Morris
bruh I am posting right now on a ship in the gulf of mexico. I do navy reserves, but sail out here in oil and gas. I work 84-90 hours a week, but I also get paid a shit ton for my age. Yeah lodging is "free" but it actually does come out of your paycheck to some degree. But it's fucking complex to get into the merchant marine with all the documents and time right now, so just join the fucking Marines.
Dylan Diaz
if you get one taken car of from some old retired people in florida it can last for years. people are too spoiled with new cars these days. i've had 500 dollar cars take me over a few years with a few minor repairs. you just need to learn how to spot a good deal. find something old from some old women who died that has low miles and always judge the buyer by how orderly they are with their house or garage
Matthew Rivera
Any tips on surviving until a recruiter opens up? 6’ and 126lbs, skinny as all get because the groceries I buy are eaten by people who physically attack me. Hard to gain weight.
