You have to go back to the origin of civilization to dig deep enough for "the truth". Each culture has a piece of the puzzle but not the whole picture. Marduk is a good place to start digging.
Remember that Moses compiled the book of Genesis from much older texts so there are tons of missing data which help to clarify the story.

So, Jesus Christ of Nazareth did fulfill scripture and did die and rose again. So that we can be saved through his blood by being baptized for the remission of sins through his name.
