you dont have to be perfect but you have to be there. Its really not hard. Course correction when they are steering off path. Explain things to them. Set rules and consequences, follow consequences when rules are broken. Explain why things are right or wrong. Your job is to provide them opportunities, encouragement, and support. Put them in situations to challenge their abilities and help them grow. Coddle them when they fail, take them down a peg when they get cocky. Dont be a fucking prick be fair. If you cant or dont want to spend time with them dont create them.
