complexity doesn't make something intelligent. It is a lot like good design. Does adding A, B, C make object D perform it's function better? If not, don't add it. Does it add additional functionality? Does that additional functionality take away from it's original functionality?

160 is "only" 1 in 10-30,000 depending on the SD you use (15 or 16). It IS rare, but not so rare that it is not measurable. Most tests however are definitely not calibrated for that range however, and accuracy on a normal IQ test usually falls off around 145.

That's what I am saying. The test itself isnt built to measure IQs that high. I knew a few people over 160 and they were told that their IQ was...'over 160'. They weren't given a specific number because there was none. Depending on the specific psychologist or tester, they may try to throw an exact number on it, but it is likely to be woefully inaccurate. Also, when IQ gets that high, environmental factors start to affect the test accuracy, as does the age of the test (IQs base metric has changed a lot since 1993 when Langan was tested)
