They don't base their operations on stamps and post cards, but about packages and mail sent. With the current boom in internet sales and trading, business has been even better than ever - to the point where OTHER shipping companies have also become successful. They are not lacking in money. They are not even a simple business but a fucking federal branch.

If they are "running out of money" its because they continually hire niggers who work 1 day a week but collect a full check.

They have to prepay the pensions up front, which is completely retarded. You have someone's retirement money laid out from the day they're hired, which makes no fiscal sense.

USPS has been hard up for years and the deal with Amazon was a double edged sword because it gave some traffic but the margins/profitability has worsened over time. Now you have less regular mail and more packages, tipping the scales.

As a USPS worker, we’re going to be fine. As long as white people keep ordering dog clothes, yoga pants/crop tops for 11 year old girls and other useless degenerate shit we’re going to be here to deliver it. Hopefully this forces the company to look at all the junk mail we’re forced to deliver, but as long as I’m down to 1-2 trays a day, I’m fine.

USPS also get paid by companies to put junk mail in your fucking mailbox. They aren't suffering for money. If they fold, then a re-structure would happen and they will discover they have a fuckload of people "employed" but not even working. Its one of the largest federal branches that have absolutely zero oversight when it comes to employing.
Yeah, their retirement plans are insane. Its why so many people push to get employed with them and don't care they don't work 5 days a week. If they are on the roster and make it to retirement, they get full benefits.

USPS is not allowed to set prices so low that it loses money on delivering packages. (If it could, it could undercut competitors like FedEx or UPS.)

Some democrat politicians made a sweet deal where Amazon gets to use USPS for free shipping on the taxpayers back. This gives Amazon a really unfair advantage over all competition and of course those democrat politicians that cut that sweet deal are making bank off Amazon.

good luck getting a UPS or fedex warehouse that isn't built for all the small pieces of mail the post offices see up and running for it.
at UPS at least, we're built more for boxes of whatever size and envelopes and the like are rare and every other one is damaged in some fashion from the conveyor belts or being trapped under other things. adding actual mail to it would be a disaster waiting to happen. not to mention the drivers would never want to do those deliveries, so ups would have to hire a shitton more people and make more routes for JUST mail only and that would hurt muh profits
