As for sin. We are born in sin. The original word for Sin in Greek basically means error. We are born mortals and never measuring up to the perfection that is in God. It's true.
As for Christ and his sacrifice. I haven't quite figured that out. I think (contrary to most theologians today but in line with Socinus) it was just martyrdom and he was god showing himself to be who he is and that some would be given over to him to grow in the goodness and life of God. I think the whole Bible narrative is mostly god revealing himself to the world. The Christians who talk about "accept Jesus Christ as your savior he paid the price on the cross" sound like word salad to me.
