Don't care

Capitalism still won and now you work on slave wages.

He left it by firing squad

Okay, jew.

Pure Dacian here. He should have nuked America when he had the opportunity.

Yeah you’re right, he did find Romania with a wooden plow. He took it away in order to pay for some oil refinement utopia pipe dream and the country starved. This happened even before the “Austerity” measures was put in which worsened conditions for the people further. This would later result in the people turning on him and killing him. But at least he had a based breeding program and trolled other communist states meaning he is one of the better communists but still a communist.

>pure dacian
Lmao okay gypsy

Turk roach don't waste my time

>he left it with nuclear energy

Looks like he left it with lead.

Our depts were paid fully by early '89, i can't comprehend why he still pushed everything for export at that point.

but why shoot the bitch too tho?

Because she was a cunt, too.

Because he gave her state power to control stuff like hospitals and she abused that power by giving herself a bunch of degrees and firing anyone she didn’t like just like a dumb bitch would.

I found your mum holding a cucumber and left her empty-handed with a cucumber stuffed up her arsehole

Watching the death of a commie is beatific.

Ceausescu, Honecker, Zhivkov, Hoxha, Husak, even Kadar -- all incredibly based men.

Soviet-type socialism was the closest we ever came to a genuine white workers' state. No wonder Ceausescu polls better amongst Romanians than every modern Romanian politician. The same is true in most other East European countries.

Pic related -- Mosques in Germany. A glimpse of what Europe could have been if the other side won.

Asked you this yesterday, you didn't respond

Ceausescu built this country, wether we like it or not. Not EU, not corporations, not post-90 oligarchs.

think about the huge systematization that took place in our country. basically all cities in Romania, from the smallest town to Bucharest, are built by Ceausescu. apartment blocks, sewer system, paved roads, bridges, huge artificial lakes and parks, the subway system, electricity, gas & sewer systems and small additional infrastracture. i doubt any non-fascistoid regime can do something like that.
think about the cooperatives in agricol sectors & the irrigation system. nuclear and hidro power plants, transfagarasan, vidraru dam, deviating the courses of rivers across all Romania. not one single place in this country was left untouched.
think about all the factories.
we used to have ARO (100% romanian car) and Oltcit, not only Dacia. artificial diamonds factories. our own computer factory in Brasov (100% romanian computer). basically a factory for every single thing on Earth.

yeah, Elena was a wild one. very mean woman

It sounds like he had true leadership, and actually did work for the nation. Although, this doesn’t quite answer his fall as this user pointed out

Why do you make these? And where is the Stalin one?

user, learning about less-known figures is interesting. Everyone has heard of Stalin, but who’s heard of Ceausescu? I know I haven’t, and I would wager you haven’t as well.

And now it's our military base and provider of cheap IT labor. The only reason Romania exists at all is daddy Stalin defending you gypsies even after you stabbed him in the back during ww2.

Imagine what Romania would be if Codreanu had been the leader.

probably some larpy isis tier shithole

here's my 2 cents:
- unnecessary hunger. people had money, but they can only buy anything except food. food was rationed for everyone in the country. most of the food went to export, having very few left for the peopl, altough he could have easily fed all romanian population and keep some for exporting too. people in rural areas were the most fucked. they were working in co-operatives and every peasant would steal vegetables and fruits from the co-operatives.
- unnecessary power shortage from 20:00PM to next morning.

cont. and in general, the regime felt very opressive. one-two hours of TV per day with shows on science or party, mass games in stadiums and streets, secret police. general sentiment of fear.

And all these sacrifices for nothing.

except cult of personality, which is a shit thing to do, he actually started the food ratio & power shortages in the early 80s, so he could pay the debt of Romania to IMF and World Bank. some people think things would have got back to normal, but we couldn't know, since he was executed few months after the debt was payed

How was life for the average person during his good years.
