Why is the military training to fight underground? Wouldn’t the most logical place for elite to hide operations would be underground? You could create an entire parallel civilization in a controlled system underground with the right materials and resources.

Likely those more suited for breeding have troughs with (very basic) processed food and bottleneck entryways to keep it from being rushed, maybe even boston dynamics-esque control robots and drones to keep the population perpetually rising without simply killing each other off.

Netflix just released a Spanish movie called “The Platform” where a prison system of 333 levels is created and a food trough is lowered down slowly to feed prisoners. Only the top 100 levels get enough food due to gluttony and the remaining prisoners are forced to eat their cell mates or die of starvation. A similar system could be replicated underground for the feral humans.
