Meh, our major news outlet reported 2000 more deaths in this past month than last year, if you look at the numbers posted by our versions of the CDC you're seeing that the deaths are overwhelmingly in the boomer and older groups. No one in the mainstream is going to research it, but my theory is that we're going to see a serious drop in the numbers of dead in the following months, since the covid is taking out a lot of people that were already on the brink.

Media is playing this up not mentioning that those on the ICU wards are people with bad health or otherwise would have been let to die in their retirement homes.

If there is no virus where did all these extra deaths in NY come from?

Thats the only scenario that sounds even likely to attribute to covid. The hospitals are literally denying people life-saving heart/cancer surgeries and when they die from lack of treatment they are labeling their deaths Covid-related.

There is a peak every year between week 40 and week 8 of the next year during normal flu season. The current spike is past that range of dates and we probably just had a weaker flu this year. Also means that spike at the end is probably something like covid.

Yes, but in this case the early inducement could have been caused from the virus. Im definitely not trying to argue here, im just saying its possible. And, like i said, this might be one of the rare cases where it might seem logical to attribute the death to covid. But, obviously theres so many unknowns (including whether Covid is even real) to form any sort of conclusion.
