There were 3 other teams with 3 other team heads that did the same amount of work that were just left out of the reporting because the media wanted a story about a cute Jewish girl creating the first image of a black hole squeee!

Go look at her commits. She made mostly incidental changes and had absolutely nothing to do with the development of the core algorithm that she's being given credit for--because she's a woman and because she's a kike.

Yeah someone linked her github account or something and she did like 2% of the work and the guy she was with did most of it.

The amount of code that she contributed was very few. I recall about 14 lines of code for the whole project.

They basically pointed 8 "cameras" at a point in space where there's a blackhole, picked up whatever light they could find (which probably resulted in completely indecipherable blobs), and then stitched this into a "photo" using unproven and unprovable algorithms, likely heavily leaning into what they already expect a black hole to look like.

Pro tip - things don't 'look' lie anything specific - it varies greatly with any number of factors relating to the particle's pathway and how your eye perceives things. What that image does do is give great information about the spatial dimension and support more accurate computation about it's mass.

Both of these things are far more grounded and relevant than your 'buh wud it lox like dat in 1080p?' 5g post burning efforts here.

They synchronized a few dozen telescopes across the world to take a picture at the exact same time at the location of the black hole and combined the image.
