He failed on a lot of key things I wanted when I voted for him (no wall, no healthcare reform). He completely botched the coronavirus response, a lot of MAGAboomer retards are now downplaying the virus because he originally downplayed it because he didn’t want to spook the markets (there’s no fundamentally right wing reason to deny that a virus exists or is dangerous, you could easily make a nationalist case for preventing entry into the US and mass foreign testing in order to enter the country so as to protect US citizens from a “foreign virus”).
However, I still support him and will (likely) vote for him for the following reasons:
1. He has resisted the urges and calls for war from basically everyone, they wanted war with Syria and Iran, he resisted both. I don’t believe that would’ve happened with virtually any other (viable) politician. However, part of the problem is he surrounded himself with a lot of neocons, but the point still stands otherwise.
2. He is making average Republicans much more adversarial to the media. His presence exposes their outright bias and lack of neutrality far more than I’ve ever seen in any other situation, I think a lot of right wingers always thought the media was “liberal” but the mask has come off now and the veneer of neutrality is gone.
3. He has created a “fight back” culture on the right. There’s a reason we started calling them “cuckservatives”, they used to roll over and accept any disingenuous accusation the left made against them, now normal republicans are aware of this behavior among R politicians because Trump hits back. Unfortunately he’s spawned many low IQ clones who aren’t nearly as good at hitting back as him, but the spirit is there.
4. The democrats are explicitly anti white at this point. They hate white people, they want us to lose our position within society, the Jewish media despises is and is openly vitriolic at all times. Who knows what policy would come out of this.
