China has economic influence and "soft power" out the ass and the USA has let this power creep for decades and done nothing in return.
They are used to the Soviet doctrine which closed itself off and only made influence with hard power (ie: threats) and then the soviets died on their own from economic stagnation. China doesn't do this and proves that dictatorships can still be free markets and with this economic power they have gotten extraordinarily wealthy and powerful.
But
If the USA pulls it's finger out of it's ass, tells it's deep state to stop worrying about fucking memes from shitposting idiots and actually fight back then the economic war can be won because politicians are being bribed left and right.

It’s overwhelmingly racially homogenous though. It’s true that even within the Han supermajority there is a lot of negative diversity, but the level of visual phenotypic differentiation is relatively though and they all genuinely view themselves as Han.
