California may have developed herd immunity last year

>Stanford researchers are looking into the possibility that coronavirus first hit California undetected last year, much earlier than anyone realized, and was only seen at that time as a particularly nasty and early flu season
>the state has a large number of people in poverty and homelessness, and saw a substantial amount of travel to and from China last year.
>As a result, the theory says, many Californians have already unknowingly been exposed to the coronavirus and have developed immunity to it.

Imagine being such a shithole state you develop resistance to future pandemics

Yeppers.

since it's estimated that the virus made the jump to humans in october or november, the theory sounds made up

I fucking knew it. My whole office got this shit back in November.

This is so they can blame China

there's no immunity to 60hz radiowaves

California used to be amazing.

All of last year there were multiple places closed because of flus killing people. This shit's been around for a while I bet.

>tfw immune

Lots of chinks travel between NYC and China all the time. NYC population is packed onto public transportation like sardines. Why doesn't NYC have herd immunity?

Funny thing was I heard the worst strain of Coronavirus was from California early on into the reporting but that kind of got lost along the way since China is the destined scapegoat that will have to give everyone free gibs as reparation for being the super spreaders.

i found the chinese agent.

Cause it makes no sense.
>california somehow undected got immunity with no one noticing ahead of other regions
>SK, Japan, NYC, China all didn't
???

This doesn't make sense because then others would have contracted it elsewhere.

Coronavirus has been responsible for half of the common colds forever, always novel, never very interesting. Bats fucking snakes and fellating pangolins is more fun but I think it's time to move on.

Cant wait for commie cucks to die thinks they immune n shit

people just thought it was the flu since its so hard to tell the difference lmao

>New York state has half the population of California but has experienced 14 times as many deaths from coronavirus.
>Experts are looking into several possibilities as to why California hasn't been hit as hard.
It's almost like CA metros were the earliest in the nation to order isolation measures etc.
We're also less dense than NYC which is by far the hotspot in the US. Look at Taiwan which took even better measures than CA and has barely any cases/deaths given their population and density.
De Blasio and Cuomo were tards and kept ignoring it until it got worse.

none of the pacific coastal states have had a particularly large outbreak either, even Washington the ground zero location for the start of the virus estimated to have reached peak deaths last month. makes you wonder if it spread up the entire coastline last year.

Not Chinese. That news was originally mentioned early on here but was mostly low key, before the Chinese bots turned up and didn't take off since China was spreading it more.

Not to worry as we will all get those much needed gibs from them. I want an fucking OnePlus 8, PRO version as reparation if possible.

You can cry wank the blame all you want while I get an list together for desired gibs.

So many chinks in California
So many gay
So much red tape
Such cringe jannies
But at least I'm immune you NIGGERS

i see CCP still busy altering history

I been saying this

I’m in los angelos my daughter got really sick in February.

Picked her up from her mom.

Few days later I got really sick

Worse I felt in my life sick

Few days later my gf gets really sick

She got pneumonia hospital sick. She was fucked up for weeks

>with no one noticing
Because the coronavirus ISN'T DEADLY. It affects basically the same population as the fucking flu. No one bats an eye when some elderly with flu symptoms get sick and die. This entire thing has been the media hyping up normal flu death numbers so the government could have an excuse to crack down on civil liberties.

I got really sick in early February. Couldn't breathe, chest tight, nonstop cough. Hopefully I had it.

>since it's estimated that the virus made the jump to humans in october or november, the theory sounds made up
I got the flu back in October, I was in the bay area.

>made the jump to humans in october
Makes perfect sense to me.

Always

China

Hasidic jews.

I'll also add, I temporarily lost my sense of taste and I searched the internet all over to figure out why.

It still would've been noticeable since you'd have a 2X+ flu cases.
How could CA have gotten it months ago in such numbers to have herd immunity but NYC didn't?
There's tons of flights from SFO, LAX, to new york and other major metros.

This study is already getting passed around to throw doubt on the virus originating in Wuhan.

I swear to God I had this in early December

I was so fucking sick. I think the sickest on my whole life. Basically bed ridden for nearly a week with a flu then couldn't stop coofing until after New year then I was suddenly better yet sort of out of breath until I went back to the gym

Attached: 1586215319260.jpg (798x452, 106.3K)

I had a nasty flu in 2016, complete with neurological symptoms, like forgetting to breathe and shit.

>tfw Mexicans aren't falling for your fake meme virus but you to explain why

Based California's Chad's do it again. Fly over and NY cucks btfo!

Everybody already got it. Many of us survived it and have antibodies.

Rush limbaugh hypothesized this

herd immunity is a myth

How does this absolve china? CA got it from China first because it's closest and we have rich chinks flying back and forth all the time.

Californians rejoice! Go out and party and have lots of sex with multiple partners in one nigh! And then do it again the next day and so forth!

These were my symptoms exactly in February. I've had a dry cough for fucking months. My sense of smell and taste were pretty much nonexistent, hard time breathing, etc.

>It still would've been noticeable since you'd have a 2X+ flu cases.
We did; this flu season has killed about 80k. Normally the flu kills 40-60k.

Holy shit, I think I had COVID-19 last year around Nov. I had the same symptoms of the disease last year, went into the doctor's office, not being able to breath. They just threw it under the table as a viral infection and gave me an inhaler, which didn't work, and a week off work. Shit was so bad, sitting up in bed knocked the wind out of me. Absolutely no explanation of what exactly it was.

NGL... Both me and a business associate went to India mid year last year for a couple of weeks. When we both got home we both came down with this weird ass flu where we were lethargic, and had shortness of breath. We were both checked out and both of our docs called it off as some weird bronchitis.

Honestly, I wasn't breathing well for weeks after that and I have never had anything like that in my life.

Literally seething. They can't stand to see us win.

Hmmmm I never thought about sense of smell and taste. Hard to recall considering all the cinnamon and evergreen stuff out that time of year.

It's been going around since November I believe

I had a nasty flu 3 years ago, I could barely breathe. Pretty sure it was the coronavirus

Because if California had it months ahead undected then who knows where it came from China just detected first (like Spanish flu). See comments on this study
>Interesting research if proven true would point to an earlier origin of covid 19 outside of China.

>IMO, the virus was already spreading elsewhere before Wuhan. But other countries didn't bother investigating it and just assumed it was a bad flu season. Only China really started mass testing everyone and discovered it. Unfortunately due to this discovery, Wuhan (China) is labeled as the origin point even though it was present globally as well.

>They're saying that they'll publish the results in a couple of weeks. Don't think that this'll happen when it turns out that it came from the US and that this whole thing is a shoot the messenger campaign because China found it first.

Also the person quotes in article is not even an epidemiologist.
>Victor Davis Hanson is an American classicist, military historian, columnist and farmer.

Why do you think they want to stop testing? Once enough people know they've already had it, the whole houae of cards comes tumbling down.

When I was super sick and I went to the doctor he knew a lot of people with similar symptoms, some that died and he just waved it off as a terrible flu season too. He said since I was young and getting better he had bigger things to worry about like treating sicker people with this same "flu"

NYers are inbred as fuck. Nobody breeds outside their ethnic enclave at the neighborhood level.

Go back to r*ddit

Same. Most congested I've ever been, lasted for a month, lost my voice. Half my daughter's class was out sick including the teacher. When the antibody test is available I'm taking it just to settle this theory that it already spread here and that the lockdown was unnecessary.

>possibility that coronavirus first hit California undetected last year

Why didn't it spread from California to the rest of America then?

This still doesn't explain why the early spread/immunity effect would be limited to California/west coast.
For her immunity to explain the case difference you'd need a fair number of people to have caught it and the interstate travel from California dwarves travel from Wuhan California.
If it was endemic to california months ago when no precautions were being taken then NYC, Atlanta, Orlando, Denver, etc all should've had it.

Sounds like pro-chink propaganda

Then again, there are so many people not showing symptoms that there are only 2 options:
1. It has been around for years so people already got accustomed to it and the body knows how to deal with it
2. It's so similar to other corona viruses that the body can usually handle it like it handles any corona cold

They are the worst dreggs of city folk.

They never go outside except to walk to bar or burger.

They all fucking sit around that dirty ass city.

At least Californians go to the Sierra's and camp and hike every other weekend.

Bodies are being left in the streets in an overwhelmed Ecuadorian city

>This still doesn't explain why the early spread/immunity effect would be limited to California/west coast.
It isn't. Like 80% of people don't show symptoms. That's a sign their bodies know how to deal with it, immunological memory and all that.
