Recently in Riverside county a skilled nursing facility had an employee walk out where the employee’s just refused to show up to work because they didn’t have any equipment. I have been in healthcare for 5 years and I am hearing this could be the new normal in the next few weeks at least in commiefornia because for the past few years healthcare workers have been getting shafted by health care companies and these workers are looking for any excuse to do a labor strike. If you need medical attention such as wound care or a broken bone in the next coming months look up how to do it yourself because I don’t know if there will be a health care infrastructure to go to in the next couple of weeks because all of the “HERO” nurses will walk out because there isn’t enough supplies for them to do their job properly and they don’t want to be legally liable for any damages they could occur as a result and the number one thing you learn in nursing school is “COVER YOUR ASS”. If you can’t keep it covered like some nurses on pornhub you are going to get shafted so hard you are better off just walking out and not going in at all like some are now and I’m sure more will follow suit. Good, hope they strike. Plenty of jobless men around that could learn their job on-the-job but aren't nurses because, if they're going to go to college for a couple years, they'd rather learn a trade or get an AAS degree like networking that pays substantially more than nursing, but if there's a strike in this time of need they might hire scabs that don't have to sit around for two years and instead could learn a working knowledge in meager months.
Hopefully they at least offer more nursing training in an apprenticeship format to get men interested after women fail the entire country the moment they have to show their work ethic. Broke men can't just get a baby daddy to pay rent for their 3 years of schooling to get a two year degree so an apprenticeship structure will be most likely to balance the field a bit.
