I'm a homosexual who intends to save himself for marriage and seeks only a loving, monogamous relationship with a man of equal age who shares my values. I'm neither effeminate nor promiscuous, and the sexual aspect of a homosexual relationship is not appealing to me outside of the context of intimate bonding. I'm a virgin still, and would ideally prefer to pair up with another virgin or at the very least one with a very low partner count.
Yet posts like these are making it apparent that very few like me exist. There has to be a means to encourage homosexuals to pursue moral lives through policy. My personal suggestions are the following:
The church could have stopped this had it embraced homosexuals and urged them to abide by its standards, but its rejection pushed them to the gutter where the subculture could fester and consume them by functioning as the sole space of acceptance and belonging for such people, essentially a parallel society with its own divergent ethics.
Civic marriage lacks a clearly defined moral context. Even if the legal standing is equal, the weight of moral expectation and responsibility is unclear in comparison to religious marriage. If homosexuals are to be fully integrated as productive and healthy members of society, religious marriage would serve to place them on the same footing of expectation and responsibility as all others and promote healthy mores among them by integrating them into a Christian moral framework.
I've personally observed that monogamous homosexuals exclusively come from Christian backgrounds, whether they themselves are religious or not, as Christian conceptions of virtue subconsciously persist in secularized form regardless.
Things were much worse during the 70s, 80s and 90s, with older homosexuals being thoroughly carnal with no regard whatsoever for commitment precisely because the influence of the subculture was much stronger owing to lack of social acceptance. The person in pic related was active during the 90s for instance, and while things are certainly bad to this day, they are noticeably tamer.
Samuel Hernandez
One issue I see is that religious conceptions of marriage have metaphysical significance in man and woman being the two complementary components of a dyad; what man and woman are, and represent in a transcendent sense, is not easily generalizable to "any two people regardless of sex".

the day you realize you are a biological failure the better, dont get me wrong i dont have anything against gay people, but nature reings supreme.
Sebastian Butler
The integration of homosexuals into the metaphysics of marriage would be a powerful motivator to encourage heteronormativity. That's my point in essence.
I do not derive purpose from nature.
Oliver Scott
> (OP) sure , at the end of the day live life your way, your bloodline and genes will end with you tough, besides trying to be a "non degenerate" homosexual while homosexuality as itself is degenerate is kind of hard, yeah you are going to have a hard time finding what you look for.
Michael Davis
I plan to raise a family with a man through surrogacy.
Asher Diaz
How about this:
Fags can get married, have a family, be normalized and all that... in Israel.
You guys can have your own state, free from the persecution and oppression of those "mean old Christian" nations, and enjoy the freedom to marry and kidna-*cough* adopt children to your heart's content.
What's that? You dont want to live free, but just subvert the cultural standards of the nations you live in?
Now, where have I heard of a people who do that before?
Asher Evans
look man no offense but you are choosing to be homosexual and you have claimed to not derive purpose from nature therefore surrogacy does not make sense, also there are actual heterosexual couples that perhaps are infertile and likely would need and deserve that more than you, then again that is imo , tough you do you.
Jackson Barnes
YIKES! You're a repressed slut-shaming internalized homophobe. It's not 1950 anymore, toxic heteronormativity is dead
Ryan Russell
Except I adore Christendom (though I lack faith) and wish for it to persevere against secularism. I do not identify with the overwhelming majority of fags, but I do feel close to Christians.
Camden Turner
>I'm a homosexual Please kill yourself you disgusting sodomite faggot
Justin Bennett
I have never had sex. I am not choosing to be a homosexual, and my orientation goes far beyond carnal craving. It is mistaken to neglect the fact that homosexual attraction contains an equally powerful drive for male intimacy and romance, a drive for tenderness divorced from sex.
Christian Allen
If I had to choose between an emotionally fulfilling celibate romantic homosexual relationship and sex I'd choose the former. I do not believe that homosexual sex is immoral in proper context, but my priority is finding myself a loving relationship.
I do not deny any of this, but none of it is relevant to my point.
Christopher Flores
Actually read my posts before spamming.

>Except I adore Christendom (though I lack faith) and wish for it to persevere against secularism >except the part where they were big ol meanie heads for not letting us butt diddling faggots set up shop at churches and ass rape each other in the pews
Jack Lee
Please read my posts carefully before commenting, it should be clear that I'm not advocating for any of this.

Angel Torres
You haven't engaged in faggot sex yet so it's not too late to STOP BEING A FUCKING FAGGOT. Sodomy is degenerate, no exclusions. Quit being a fucking queer you brainwashed faggot. It is not natural. It is not acceptable. Turn away from your degenerate desires before it is too late. You cannot call yourself a Christian and engage in faggotry. You are going against the Law of the prophets. Christ never invalidated the Law and the prescription for your sin is that you should be put to death. You cannot change the Bible to suit your desires. You cannot get into heaven as a faggot. You disgust the lord your God and He will not accept you as an abomination.
Nathaniel Lewis
Sodomy is always immoral. Become a monk and give up on companionship if you cannot stop being a faggot. Devote your entire being to God.
Ethan Evans
See It goes beyond sex. A woman could never provide an emotionally fulfilling relationship to me.
Elijah Bailey
I cannot give up on companionship, and I see nothing immoral in it, given that it can be selfless and loving.
Connor Bell
>The integration of homosexuals into the metaphysics of marriage would be a powerful motivator to encourage heteronormativity. That's my point in essence. It's a big ask to propose discarding the metaphysical duality of man and woman to accommodate homosexuals. I'd be more comfortable articulating a notion of a separate form of union, which was still conferred some kind of religious approval, but which didn't alter the existing conception of heterosexual marriage.
William Hernandez
Then give up on relationships in general. Devote yourself to God. We do not need you trying to change the Word. To do so is sin.
Robert Evans
>a Greek >a faggot Sounds right
Joseph King
Gays are an abomination. It does not matter how you see it. The Bible tells us how it is. If you cannot give it up then you cannot truly call yourself a Christian. You're just a deceiver.
Charles Sanchez
>a separate form of union, which was still conferred some kind of religious approval I'd be content with that if it enforced the same duties and responsibilities as marriage, namely monogamous commitment and the immorality of divorce. Something akin to adelphopoiesis perhaps
There is no ritual for marriage in the Bible beyond consummation. Without consummation there is no marriage. For two men to do so is sin. There is no room for faggots. Serve God, straighten yourself out, or quit pretending to be Christian.
Jeremiah Gutierrez
The only way for you to be forgiven of your egregious sin is to forsake a relationship altogether an remain celibate. You cannot have a homosexual relationship, even if you’re trying to copy Gods formula for homosexuality is itself an abomination. A lot of us are Incelbros anyway so you’ll be another one in the group. I beseech you to forsake all forms of faggotry.
Elijah Nguyen
You've gotten things mixed up. Most gay men and women aren't gay because they're homosexuals. They're gay because they're fad-chasing faggots.
The percentage that's regular people who just happen to be homosexuals is tiny, and still deserve the rope for not calling out and stopping the degeneracy that attached itself to them and grew over a century.
Levi Young
For a man to lie with another man as he would with a woman is an abomination and the two are to be put to death. Your feelings on the matter are not relevant.
Benjamin Rodriguez
Leviticus no longer applies. It also contains restrictions on wearing mixed fabrics and only concerns pre-messianic Jews. I'm aware of other passages that condemn homosexual acts but at least use them.
Sure, I wouldn't have a problem with that. It would require the development of a different notion of the proper role of sexuality, however. For better or worse Abrahamic religions are explicit and meticulous in articulating RIGHT and WRONG ways to approach sexuality; homosexual intimacy in this context couldn't just be "ignored", it would require some kind of specific sanction.
Ryder Robinson
the lgbt community will never be accepted on the righteous side until you solve the problem of relational frivolity, it is your job to fight from the inside to change your community, it is your moral duty to fag, so look for an organization that follows this line and militates in it. there will be an organization of republican fags
except the relationship you want is not possible, and barely possible in modern society for heterosexuals...
the only real companionship that will ever fulfill you is one you seek with God.
Hunter Thomas
I believe that the Catholic church is on the path towards formulating a new conception of proper sexuality. I really hope it is brought to fruition.
Elijah Williams
>he thinks the rest don't apply too I've got some bad news, you and your daughters are likely to be stoned.
Ayden Price
>and barely possible in modern society for heterosexuals...
It is the one thing that keeps me going. I hold onto hope. I exist, so it is statistically impossible none else shares my values.
Joseph Harris
The problem with homosexual relationships is that they are inherently nihilistic and prone to destruction because they cannot conceive a child. >Whatever No, you don't understand. By doing this you are confirming that you don't have a horse in the race for the future of humanity. Once you and your partner die, that's it. No progeny to carry on your genetics. You might think it's silly, but your genes don't. Your biology doesn't. Once you get closer to death you will freak the fuck out because you will realise that once you die, that's it, and you can't take anything with you. None of your constructs, your houses, your pets, your game and fortune, it doesn't go with you. Unless you are part of the 1% of humanity who actually makes a big enough impact on the world that some things persist after death (like creating a huge corporation or charity or doing something to get out into history books), then once you die it's like you never existed at all. That fucks with your mind on a subconscious level to a degree that you can't comprehend. Just think, 80, 85, 90 years of your life, every single thing you did, utterly pointless and gone after your last breath. You will go crazy and rage and scream at heaven and you will find yourself in a hell of your own creation while you are still on earth. That's what's wrong with homosexuality. You think old spinster women go crazy without kids? Trust me as someone with an old pole smoker in his family, old gays are absolutely miserable.
Luis Diaz
So if we take as given that there is precedent for institutional Christian sanction for same-sex unions of SOME form, but NOT sexual ones (for the reasons previously described), the immediate challenge becomes articulating a conception of homosexual of homosexual intimacy beyond it being sinful / in contradiction of metaphysical ideals (which are the same thing?)
James Ross
Christ never invalidate the Law of the prophets, user. You must live the religion that Christ lived. He died so that we may be forgiven, but that does not mean we can ignore the Law. You're no different from the Pharisees, trying to go against the Law.
Julian Cox
The solution to homosexuality is the death sentence.
Xavier Hernandez
I think his point was more that it's folly to seek in any type of union, hetero- or homosexual, the fulfillment which you can only achieve through your relationship with God.
Nathaniel Fisher
Additionally, the metaphysics of the man-woman dyad are way beyond our ability to really fuck with. Man and women have different energy, different frequencies, different physical states, for a reason. It's to balance an equation. It's to ensure harmony. Light - dark. Yin - Yang. Positive - Negative. You have to have balanced energy going into a relationship to properly conceive a well and sound child. A child has half the genes of the mother, half of the father. The parents must commit half of themselves, their biology, their spirit, to the child for the child to be whole.
Grayson Watson
>I'm a homosexual who intends to save himself for marriage
I plan to have progeny through surrogacy. >the immediate challenge becomes articulating a conception of homosexual of homosexual intimacy beyond it being sinful / in contradiction of metaphysical ideals
That's indeed the primary challenge, but modern theology has a penchant for successfully consolidating seemingly contradictory concepts through mental gymnastics (i.e Karl Rahner's claim that even unbelievers may be saved through Jesus)
Isaac Collins
It’s beyond retarded how /pol uses skewed 1970’s studies or ANECDOTES like you OP to claim that most gay men are depraved.
You do realize we have multiple HUGE representative surveys, all of which show gay men typically have between 10-20 sexual partners in their life?? About 30% also have between 0 and 9. About 30% have over 50, and the rest are typically around 20. Source: General social survey, the NATSAL (UK) and ASHR (australia) studies. These all Survey over 15,000 people.
I don’t care about your retarded anecdotes. Obviously the more conservative gay men don’t talk about their sex lives so all we hear of is ‘depravity’.
James Parker
Where does that leave homosexuals? I'd argue that being excluded from fully participating in social institutions is what caused the subculture to rise and corrupt them.
Luke Wright
>10-20 sexual partners in their life?? That's extremely high still.
Oliver Sanders
Go found yourself a new religion then. You are not saved by Christ and not a Christian. You're part of the reason the world is in such a sorry state and no amount of "morality" will change that.
Robert Fisher
You're to be put to death or go to a monastery and become a monk living your entire life in service to God. There is no room for faggots in heaven.
Hudson Thompson
>That's extremely high still. 10-20 is not extremely high considering most people on pol think the average has hundreds lmfao. also most of the sexual partners don’t even constitute penetration, and actually are just oral
David Mitchell
I understand where you are coming from and find it perfectly understandable, but the fact remains that homosexuals suffer and I, being a homosexual, seek to alleviate it.
Justin Adams
*perfectly agreeable
Wyatt Smith
>just oral >just
How many guys have you sucked? That you even feel the need to differentiate between the two speaks volumes.
Alexander Kelly
>How many guys have you sucked? That you even feel the need to differentiate between the two speaks volumes. 4 in my life and I’ve been in a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend for the past 5 years, whom I intend to marry. Unlike you I don’t feel the need to judge others and their relationships. Every time I hear some gay guy complain about other gay men it usually turns out they’re simply bitter and have some attributes that make their own relationships short lived. I found someone who shared my values and is more emotional than sexually focused. If you’re approaching a relationship with such desperation to prove how ‘normal’ you are it will not work lmao.
Christopher Jackson
But the church can't change the definition of marriage to include you because marriage is defined by Jehovah as between a man and a woman. It's not up to church officials but rather God.
Jackson Wood
>4 in my life Hookups no doubt. >I don’t feel the need to judge others Enjoy modernity.
