Lads, I just finished watching Dr. Goebbel's film about the Titanic.
All in all it was a reasonable film. I'd give it 7/10. I think the german officer character was a bit too far fetched tbqh. I can't imagine a real life employee being that insubordnate and rude to his boss all the time. Otherwise it's at least on par with "A night to remember".
Also, the film would have been better if all the passengers had sung "nearer my god to thee" as the ship went down, (instead of just having the melody play for a few seconds when the wireless room guy let his bird go). Small details like that make an enormous difference.
