Let’s say that by 2050 50% of americas population lives in California and New York. Should only 2 states decide the entire presidential decision every time?

Or do you maybe think the way that our government was designed was to allow small population rural states to have a say in how their country is run.

The entire concept of the electoral college is to ensure that a single state or handful of states runs the entire country. It makes sure that every state in the union has a seat at the table and can influence how things evolve in our republic.

Let’s say those 50% of people lived in only California and New York. The way the electoral college is designed would still allow the other 48 states to win a presidential election despite having less than 50% of the population.

If 40% of the population but 90% of the territory is feeling that there voice is being unheard. They will have no reason to stay in the union and will obviously choose to secede. Alaska, Hawaii, Texas, California, New York and Florida being perfect examples of states that already have reasons to choose independent nation state status over a collectivized union.

Texas, New York and California in particular having so much real estate and financial wealth along with vast natural resources and agricultural land could transition to a nation state or in New York’s case the worlds supreme city state very easily.

You don’t think a Silicon Valley technocratic California isn’t already all of the billionaires dreams? You don’t think all of the oil wealth from Texas doesn’t want to have their own separate Lone star state?

The reality is that america is a strategic military alliance and economic marketplace.
