Feudalism isn't really the economic side. It's more of a social and political system to divide up power. Monarchies can be pretty much anything in the sense that it could be socialist, capitalist, etc. There's almost no similarity between the ruling of one person over a nation, a versatile system of governemt, and the way power is divided up between the lower classes with lords having land and peasants working it as knights also get a share of the land for being loyal.
