WHERES THE MISSING PAGES So having been digging around in the research leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic, I stumbled across something very curious.
The research done by Zhengli Shi (Wuhan Institute of Virology) on the coronavirus - animal reservoir research had been mysteriously scrubbed from the web. After doing some digging, and help from another user, we found the PDF version of it (here's the link to the download) researchgate.net/publication/7570445_Bats_Are_Natural_Reservoirs_of_SARS-Like_Coronaviruses
A simple glance at the bottom of the paper shows that there should be 10 pages. Even counting the cover page and graphs, there's only 9. Something has been removed from this publication, there's at least one page missing but as many as 3-4. So, I ask you Yas Forums , why would this information be removed from this research paper? A simple question really, with potentially revealing ramifications. >inb4 corona is a hoax Even if it is (it isn't but I'll entertain it) why would this information be... gone?
I just looked through the PDF and the page numbering discrepancy might just be an artifact of the way adobe or your PDF reader is processing the last figures. Based on an (admittedly cursory) read-through, I don't see any obvious missing information.

So now that we have more than just myself, I honestly think that this is the smoking gun, proving that either A- the Chinese government has been aware of COVID-19 since at least 2005 or B- the Chinese government genetically engineered SARS using part of this paper as a basis, and retroactively covered their tracks

I don't think so, the pages are clearly numbered 1-10 at the bottoms and yet there's only 6 pages, even considering the cover and graphs theres still 1 missing. All you would need to do is fix the ends of the pages right before the missing page (s) to seem like they're complete.

All this paper really sets out to establish is that bats are hosts to coronaviruses. It's not even about SARS-CoV-2 it's just about coronaviruses because at the time they were investigating the original SARS outbreak still.

Precisely my point. It's about the initial carriers, bats. The missing pages could have to do with the way it transmits from host to host (pure speculation) or any number of things. This paper is very relevant to what's happening now, there could have been information here pertaining to transmission that the WIV used in a genetic experiment, and when COVID-19 started to spread they had to get rid of it otherwise it's show that they at least knew about this 15 years ago, and at most engineered it.

Which is to say that based on my reading of the actual document I don't think there are missing pages. It gets to the point it was trying to make and all of its references are hit without it looking to have anything actually cut off or missing.

That's exactly what it is kek, If you read the paper it very explicitly discusses basically exactly what has happened, even down to the wetmarket. While I seem to be wrong about the missing pages, this is still a very damning piece of information. A very telling paper nonetheless, and even more interesting that it's basically impossible to find outside of that link
This is what I got under initial searching for this paper, I don't know where the other Anons found the link but that seems to be the only way to get ahold of this paper, and not someone telling you what's in the paper.

Coronaviruses being perpetual in bats is not far-fetched at all. Such a thing is VITAL to the life cycle of a virus - that it finds a host that it lives in harmony with. You can practically take it as gospel that they do so, its so damn believable in the biology world. That woman was the one to prove it. Now then. If you are going to simulate a virus leaping from animals to humans and going NUTS... there are a few things to consider. 1) It needs to survive in bats viably, ideally without harming them 2) While following 1), it also needs to be able to infect humans 3) It also needs a transmission vector dangerous enough to SPREAD like a pandemic 4) It needs to have dangerous symptoms
So China, as evidenced by their PUBLIC research, went out and looked for the nastiest strains of coronavirus they could, those with symptoms most similar to SARS, and started manipulating them to be able to infect humans via the ACE2 receptors, using HIV in some way.
user, there's nothing new or spooky here, it's just an old paper with nothing new in it. This was studied because of SARS, we've known for a long time about various wildlife reservoirs.

Now, fulfilling all 4 criteria means you need to actually put the damn chimera you have made into animals and see if it sustains itself in them long enough to make transmission to humans viable. Early on, several groups were certain the virus was man made.
