You know, I've actually had a chance to shoot one of those, and actually, it wasn't half-bad. The combination of spring-power arms and elastic seems to work, it shot pretty good. And at least it doesn't use ball-in-band attachment, the objectively worst and least stable attachment method.
I'm still worried that it's made from Chinesium pot metal and any component could break at any time, but if you absolutely can settle for a one-piece polymer fork banded with Theraband, from either SimpleShot or Pocket Predator, and absolutely have to buy an over-engineered meme slingshot, that's the one I'd say to get.
N-not that I have any strong opinions on the matter, or am a massive slingshot sperg.

Any DJI drone is good. That’s what the cops are using. The one in my picture is the Mavic Pro. Great place to start. Try offer up for a gently used one. All of them are VR headset compatible, but it becomes a novelty quick. You plug your phone into the controller for a screen so you don’t really need VR. Even cooler are AR solutions like the Epson Moverio so you can see FPV and still maintain los with the drone

None of that is the problem. The biggest problem these days is flight restrictions inforced with geofencing. Updates have nerfed DJIs to where they won’t even take off some places. That’s where building your own comes in

Just looked up the specs on the goggles, it's really low resolution/fps. 720@60 or 1080@30. That's fine for proof of concept, within in the next few years though if you think that stuff is impressive the pipeline for new hardware/software techniques is going to be uniquely suited for drone to VR.

Like I said before the bottleneck is with the headsets, with foveated rendering gaming uses will still be pushing resolution, but drone purposes can deviate. Then can pump resolution on the real time headsets up just slightly to be a little clearer, but it will allow headsets to multi-panel with no perceivable processing hit so goggles will have the same FOV that we have natively, but you can also jack the fps up well beyond 120 eliminating motion blur in real time which will make even lower resolution panels seem very clear.

Then how are any of these DJI headsets legal? I'm not saying that you're flying the drone in VR, I mean that the technology in the DJI headsets acting as a monitor, an AR head set for tehcnical applications, or a VR headset for gaming/media playback is all the same. The difference being the use case and foveated rendering in VR will greatly improve their capacity, but completely revolutionize non-gaming oriented headsets.
