Anyone saying the game was bad or the reviews were unwarranted was slammed by major media outlets as an alt-right, fascist, misogynist, racist, hateful prick. A movement arose to demand for oversight in the game reviewing industry. The movement was also systematically attacked. Some speeds noticed patterns like 10 news sources dropping articles with the same key words all within 5 minutes of one another. This led to further investigation that revealed all major news outlets were conspiring and working together to spread fake news.
