i think the real panic about this virus, that is obviously not being made that clear, is that it kills more at least seemingly healthy people than regular flu
its just a regular flu strain in a sense, its just more random and deaths arent so confined towards people who have diagnosed health problems
i say this because i never get sick and this shit had me just about on my knees begging to god to get over it, and im not even religious
Regular flu has a 0.1% kill rate... The lung herpes is 50-100 times more lethal.
Josiah Cook
Stop comparing it to the flu because it is viral pneumonia, you ever had pneumonia? Shits brutal and has the same death ratio as coronavirus at 5-10% of people dying.
Owen Mitchell
regular flu infection rates are estimated, its not specifically people who are tested for it
covid is only people who are tested, which means they have worse cases of it because of the inherent bias in such a practice
i had no fluid in my lungs and it felt like i was choking on nerve gas
i think the virus actually fucks with your red blood cells preventing them from carrying oxygen and also possibly dumping toxic amounts of iron into your organs, because thats the only explanation i can find for how i felt and an user described the virus working in such a way in great detail a few days ago
Justin Fisher
its 500% more lethal than dying of the flu. If you get covid, you die 500 times harder than if you just got the flu. That what these numbskulls who say 'just a flu' don't understad
Ryan Cooper
Stop getting your information from the media and CIA niggers in the /cvg/ threads. It's estimated to between 0.1 and 0.26% death rate. Which technically makes the media correct when they say >CORONAVIRUS MIGHT BE TWICE AS LETHAL AS FLU Only that's a pretty faggy way of looking at it.
Your number is directly correlating confirmed cases with deaths. Which is a crazy way of measuring pandemic deaths. If we did that with flu (we don't, we account for all factors like that most people who get the flu don't go to the doctor or get tested) we'd get comparable spoopy numbers.
Elijah Wright
>population goes up every year >flu death toll goes up every year really gets the ol noggin joggin
Jeremiah Robinson
So the virus basically gives you pulmonary vascular disease you reckon?
Luke Sanchez
based and twoweeks-pilled.
Luis Edwards
nice flue vaccines, thanks, mr.Gates
Dylan Barnes
it has the ability to infect a bacteria called prevotella in your body. once it replicates within the prevotella it creates a hybrid virus that has the ability to infect your blood. The bioweaponeers found this out when studying horseshoe bats in Wuhan. the fix is a low carb diet and no sugar. prevotella lives on carbs and sugar
Cooper White
No, there's nothing to indicate that.
Lucas Campbell
Where are you getting your information from? You are not going to have real data until next year.
Maybe this last flu season was worse because this virus outbreak started much earlier and it wasn't being tested for.
Adrian Kelly
from the doctors i have talked to it presents like pneumonia, the worrying part is that it is viral and pneumonia can't normally spread at all.
Jacob Nguyen
but it isnt pneumonia, it is a blood infection
Michael Garcia
Of course, all we have are estimates by now. The latest numbers I saw was from the Oxford research group >cebm.net/covid-19/global-covid-19-case-fatality-rates/ >Taking account of historical experience, trends in the data, increased number of infections in the population at largest, and potential impact of misclassification of deaths gives a presumed estimate for the COVID-19 IFR between 0.1% and 0.39%.*
Anyways, using the confirmed cases vs. deaths is completely bonkers. No virological institute would ever do that because it's a completely misleading metric. The media does it, but the media is faggots.
Lincoln Murphy
It stops you from breathing by filling your lungs with fluid..
Luis Evans
From the doctors I've talked to the general prognosis is headache and a sore throat for 2-5 days, which is comparable to the common cold. It's slightly more deadly than the flu in the age 80+ segment of people who have comorbidities.
Mason Parker
my brother is a doctor in melbourne and my sister is a nurse, from what i have heard it is more like a chest infection in less severe cases, most have what you describe and the people in ICU have what seems like pneumonia. Apparently a lot of the cases testing positive have no symptoms at all also.
Juan Sanders
no it doesnt. it stops you from breathing by disabling the blood oxygen exchange within your blood cells.
Christopher Adams
The S surface protein gives the virus the ability to bind with hemoglobin freeing the iron ion and rendering the blood cell incapable of carrying oxygen.
Mason White
>flu kills 80,000 >covid ends up killing 100,000 >omg it’s a flu!!!!!! >forgot that it ends up with 180,000 dead compared to normal 80,000 And that’s with insane lockdown measures. You don’t see the flu projected to kill 2 mil without locking everything down
Alexander Lewis
>Diamond Princess 1.5% and rising your numbers are shit
Jason Russell
Flu and COVID compete for kills.
Nathan Myers
Yes, I'm describing the most common prognosis. The vast majority of people who contract corona have either no symptoms, or sore throat/headache for a few days. That's pretty much everyone under 50. It's true that it seems to hit the old and already sick harder than the regular flu, and these often have severe respiratory symptoms. Still, there is no reason to assume crazy death rates like 5-10% and people shouldn't use such numbers just because the media use them right now in a very dishonest way.
Diamond Princess is a ship full of old people on a cruise. It's not a reflection of the population at large.
Owen Lewis
>The lung herpes is 50-100 times more lethal. Wait until you find out that lung herpes is a real thing. >it has the ability to infect a bacteria called prevotella in your body. No it doesn't. Coronaviruses are viruses of eukaryotes. Go back to the "HIV hybrid" theories, they're only mildly retarded.
Jose Flores
I dont think it is original virus that can infect the blood. it is the hybrid virus that is a result of replication inside the prevotella
Eli Peterson
>it is the hybrid virus that is a result of replication inside the prevotella I have no idea where you hear stuff like this, but wherever it is you should read less of it.
Brody Nelson
it isnt a coronavirus, it is a bioweapon. it was designed this way. This process was extracted from the horseshoe bats
Very close to FPBP. But it's technically closer to airborne malaria. But Aussie is still based for adding a bit of shitpost.
Ryder Scott
Wow, a non-peer reviewed study by Sandeep Chakraborty that talks about a sample group of 6 people. Well, can't argue with the science. I guess this is space AIDS after all. Two weeks, bro.
checked Should've replied to this one in my last post, but yeah. Frontline clinical research shows that it's causing hypoxia, moreso than pneumonia. youtube.com/watch?v=aEubPR36pzk
Carson Young
>unpublished paper by a single Pajeet claiming a superinfection based entirely on finding evidence of an incredibly common, generally non-pathogenic bacterium Gee, what's next, the real cause of Norovirus is Enterococcus? Thanks, Cletus, your PhD has really come in handy here.
Easton Cruz
Are you this retarded?
1.8% of deaths in NYC are in healthy people. Remaining 98.2% have confirmed or suspected underlying conditions. Literally 2 kids with cancer died in entire NYC, with no other deaths under 18 years old.
Shill harder next time.
Daniel Johnson
>Wait until Autumn LMFAO
And I thought muh 2 weeks was funny
Julian Hughes
I'm pretty sure i got this covid19 in 2018, i'm 27 and pretty well in shape, sporty, i go to run 2 hours three times a week and supplement in between with 30 series of pushups at a level that i find them becoming easy.
I've experienced a few previous flus in my life, but NEVER at that level, i felt like no strength in my entire body, upto the end of my fingers, difficulties even just ROLLING from one side to the other in the bed, getting muscles cramps and sensations of falling in the void with unfathomable amount of weight all over my body.
I had the cough and sniffles, but the worst part of this is the duration... It took me almost 3 entire fucking weeks to get over it and at the end of it, all my energy / training / muscle mass was completely depleted, i knew my body was lacking oxygen and suffocating even tho i was breathing without much of a problem even tho i needed to cough accumulating liquids in my lungs... After all this shit i was good for a total physical re-eductation.
I never thought the fucking flu could bring me down so hard, especially when all my vitamins level were optimal from my blood tests that year and i had no deficiency of any kind in blood.
This shit's not normal and i think this "covid 19" bullshit has been here for a longer while in another strain, or shape, than anyone suspect it was.
It was the first time in my whole life i ever truely feared keeling over from any infection ever, i don't know how to explain the huge, abyssmal energy drain that makes you feel your body weight 10 tons and you can only crawl like a slug in your bed and hope you will not pass out and die from asphyxion from being just too weak to breathe.
Sebastian Jones
I'm pretty sure I had it too. I also felt like my lungs were on fire and choking on tear gas. I've also had pneumoniae twice, and this felt nothing like pneumoniae. My symptoms overall eere fairly mild untill the last couple of days. It took me about a weeknto feel better, and another 5 days or so for the shortness of breath feeling to go away.
Hunter Moore
US deaths will exceed 1.5 million. Screencap this.
Brandon Ortiz
>Previously, the existence of Prevotella and nCoV reads in copious amounts in sequencing data from Wuhan, China
James Smith
spanish flu was 2 years with 4 really murderous months. Chinese plague is following the same trajectory. Just getting warmed up.
Eli James
Fuck off you goal post moving disinfo schizo faggoy. I'll rape your house and burn down your family you boomer shit stain.
>My symptoms overall eere fairly mild untill the last couple of days I had a sore throat for three weeks recently and a bit of cough. Then suddenly my lungs hurt. Ached. Real deep. And my heart raced for 3 days along with it. I had to sleep on my back because if I laid on my side it felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest. I had no appetite. Didn't eat anything for 3 days almost. But I got around okay and still did stuff. I didn't feel TOO bad. Then it went away.
Nathan Richardson
The cytokine storm being talked about here from the beginning is also now being reported as being a real thing, both in scientific literature and the media.
Ayden Perez
Well, barring some very peculiar conspiracy of some sort it's literally impossible that you got this particular strain of coronavirus in 2018. You probably just had a bad flu and have a somewhat poor immune system for some reason. Being in shape doesn't necessarily help, you have to have proper nutrition and several other factors on the level as well.
Nathan King
probably was influenza. You just got a major viral loads from somewhere and your body flipped out. You have to realize the symptoms are not the virus that is your body doing that, to fight the virus, so being healthy doesn't mean weak symptoms it can mean your body will fight it even harder.
Liam Jackson
sounds shitty. did you get the 30% reduce lungs forever?
Jacob Stewart
That sounds like a bad case of the flu, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The flu fucking sucks. Bad.
Eli Rogers
What goal post moving. I think people should source their wild claims and then I got some retarded blathering from some pajeet as the source. Why are you happeningfags so emotional and faggy?
Mason Peterson
Google 2nd wave of spanish flu. It targeted healthy 20 - 30 year olds.
Andrew Gutierrez
Well, you can't trust the media for shit, but I would appreciate your sources on the scientific literature.
Nathan Taylor
The 1918 and 2009 graphs are clearly copies. What a shit info graphic.
Michael Barnes
>hybrid virus We call that a mutation. The prevalence of prevotella in the infected is more likely a result of the virus suppressing the bodies immune system. If the virus does indeed infect and replicate in prevotella then it would be killing the prevotella and you wouldn't be seeing such high numbers.
Jaxson Bennett
Wuhan wheeze is the biggest meme this century and is absolutely just a cover to unwind 09s toxic debt History will prove me right I honestly don't give a shit as a """critical worker""" because my job cannot be automated If you are laid off you had a useless job that automation will replace
Jacob Bell
>Stop getting your information from XYZ >Literally getting your information from people lying to your face to make you say retarded shit to other people *slow clap* You're a fucking moron, congrats.
Levi Cox
So if we continue to have only 10,000 deaths every 10 days for the next few months months we will only have 160,000 deaths. Cool.
Noah Moore
Spanish flu was deadly to younger generation from the first wave, and the theory is that the older generation had survived a similar flu strain that gave them some immunity.
Christopher Brown
Where do you get your numbers then?
Mason Sullivan
Did your lungs and eyes feel like they were being irritated by a chemical by any chance?
Ryan Robinson
This is textbook influenza with follow-on bacterial pneumonia, again a very common combination. I had it 3 years ago for the first time ever. I'm not as fit as you, but I clock 500+ miles of running per year .. and that fucking influenza+pneumonia kicked my ass so fucking hard even my name was coughing. Took me about a month to get back to breathing normally. At the peak, due to shortness of breath, I couldn't walk further than ~20 steps without taking a 3 minute break.
Oliver Lopez
>I had a sore throat for three weeks recently and a bit of cough. Then suddenly my lungs hurt. Ached. Real deep. And my heart raced for 3 days along with it. I had to sleep on my back because if I laid on my side it felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest. >I had no appetite. Didn't eat anything for 3 days almost.
see this is the kind of weird shit im talking about
ive heard many such reports and i also had a pretty similar experience
someone i know also says they had a "cough they never had before", i guess it wasnt as bad as mine but i think i know exactly what they mean about the weird throat pain
William Perez
I got it too like 2 weeks back Hacking dry coughs after waking up for an hour, then temperature and the sniffles By evening it was done and I haven't had any issues since
Its not a cytokine storm. It is a combination of oxygen deprivation, iron poisoning and overproduction of blood cells making the blood too thick.
Dylan Mitchell
This fits with the description I hear from people around here. People in good shape going through the infection describes it as absolute hell. Also the cytokine storms are being reported as real now, maybe that’s what got the authorities so worked up.
Adrian Brown
they would have flu swabbed anyone with flu complications listed as cause of death.
Andrew Gutierrez
Second time you make this claim, but still no proper sources for it.
Landon Cox
Fuckin lol'd user thanks for that
Owen Brown
i am drawing this theory based on the research done at the wuhan lab. they noted that the virus was actually a bacteriophage and it infected the prevotella in the bats. this is why the zpaks actually work. they are killing the prevotella which houses the bacteriophage news.berkeley.edu/2019/01/28/whopping-big-viruses-prey-on-human-gut-bacteria/
Evan Sullivan
It took me months to get back to a "normal" level of breathing, i experienced shorteness in breath and even a lot of blood pressure issues in the first weeks, i was litterally light headed from trying to walk and breathe and feeling my heart pumping.
So much so i needed to take breaks after walking for 3 minutes, but i knew that if i wanted to get back in shape i had to force physically re-educate myself, my previous breathing levels slowly came back in like 5 months or so, and i could go back to running but i'm nowhere near my previous level of stamina, was still working on it.
I'd say that even a year+ after that i'm estimating that i'm still only at 75% of where i was before it happenned. This winter i developed what my doc call an "asthmatic bronchitis" while breathing in cold / fresh and humid air, that's some fucked up shit i've never experienced before getting that flu shit last year.
(getting shorteness of breath, needing to force through breathing with my lungs if i force myself to run in the cold and humid weather.)
Cameron Sanders
The flu kills disproportionate numbers of healthy children every year. Corona selectively kills older adults with multiple co-morbid conditions (98% of all deaths).
Yes, sounds like flu followed by pneumonia or bronchitis like the other guy said. Some temporary lung damage is common in such situations. Most people recover fully in at most 2 years, so just keep active and stay healthy.
Jackson King
yeah it sounds like a really bad case of a normal flu
i think flu in general has been getting worse, and i suspect its because of gooks eating weird shit raw, alive or undercooked
if you think about it, at this point, nonwhite countries have grown very large due to both technological innovation and jews flat out selling us out, and now they are basically just incubating diseases that can spread to us and flooding our countries, causing disease, crime and undermining the value of our labor, at the least
you're reminding me i also got something a couple weeks before this shit really fucked me
it lasted 1 day, i think it was a sore throat or some phlem, then it was gone
two weeks later suddenly i was fucked
>suspected underlying conditions
right, i didnt say it was necessarily killing more perfectly healthy people, but people who are in good enough health to "seem" healthy
We all know about bacteriophages. Coronaviruses are not bacteriophages. If somebody has compelling evidence that SARS-CoV-2 has suddenly somehow become a bacteriophage, that would be some pretty big news, but you just linked a layperson's article about the discovery of bacteriophages in the human gut.
Azithromycin, by the way, is used to prevent bacterial superinfection, a leading cause of morbidity and complication in viral pneumonias.
Ryder Allen
How are you disgusting niggers actually getting sick? l haven't changed my habits at all since this came out and l'm feeling fine. l'm still going through multiple airports a week and touching elevator buttons and only washing my hands after using the bathroom & before eating finger food. l figure since l already live a pretty clean life l am actually safer now that coronavirus is out because now all you unwashed masses are finally cleaning yourself once or twice a day.
New information on this seems to be coming out daily. Yas Forums had it right from the beginning.
Oliver Perez
Flu isn't a bio-weapon. Why would you think china would shut down an entire province and turn it into a living prison unless it was a lab bug that escaped?
>The flu kills disproportionate numbers of healthy children every year. Corona selectively kills older adults with multiple co-morbid conditions (98% of all deaths).
Reminder that Covid-19 has HIV in it. HIV has been with us since 1980 and is still with us today, the longest living plague in history.
