absolute nonsense. what you probably heard about ales is that some people use store bought aloevera gel and mix it with ethanol to get sanitizer gel. they do that because the store bought aloe vera gel already contain carbomer 940 ( the fucking chemical used by the industry to make any type of gel)

having 100 grams of carbomer 940 will make more than 2 thousands litres of gel.

4. Use soap making calculator.
5. Mix them at fixed temperature, 50-60 degrees C maybe?

Of the two kinds of bottles I have, only one has a thickener, which is carrageenan, which from what I have seen is way more common than some carboner, which as a common person I know little about. Last I heard, it was made from seaweed. Not sure how hard it is to grow seaweed
The other bottle has no thickener, but is more watery of course. It can still be thickened though, you should see how it comes out of the plant.
But if you want to go the j-lube route and bulk buy fancy powder, be my guest, it was just a suggestion.

You put them in new containers without dead yeast from time to time. Yeast turn sugar into alcohol which kills other stuff and eventually yeast itself if they make too much.

You can get yeast from fruit skins. For example apples have good wine making yeast.

With some container transfers/splits and good hygiene/food safety, you'd be surprised how well it just werks
