for the record user, the death count is indeed being undercounted anywhere there is a significant number of deaths and infections. this is because anyone that dies has to be someone that was confirmed tested positive in order for them to even think about attributing the death to coronavirus. if a nursing home elder dies of an unknown respiratory illness without being tested and they don't end up spending the resources on a corpse, it doesn't get counted. you can see this in spain and italy. 4-5x is a little high of an estimate because the bong is a happooner, but 2x is definitely plausible
