Modern right-wingers (especially American ones) love to romanticize rural life as super healthy and fulfilling, but fact of the matter is that the countryside tends to be a miserable place full of impoverished brainlets whose only joy in life is getting drunk/high. Why do you think so many European countries literally bribe farmers to stay in their rural shitholes?
American farms are clean mechanized intensive cultivations, their countryside is modern and automated. They don't have our masses of smelly serfs who can barely read. Their farmers are a sort of middle class, especially in the north and mid west
Joshua Morales
>tends to be a miserable place full of impoverished brainlets whose only joy in life is getting drunk/high You also just described most cities
Brandon Clark
This is Russia on your picture.
Carson Reed
Just because the farmers make less than those in cities is no reason to bash people that find more in life than making a jewish dollar.

>farmers dont print money my man i have some news for you
Nope, it's a picture of "beautiful and prosperous" Estonian countryside.
Austin Peterson
Dude you're full of shit and a weak pussy too

Farming is a fine occupation if the farms and urban centres aren't too far separated. Here in the Netherlands a farm is always going to be near some major population centre. It's EU regulations driving our farmers out of jobs, not their desire to stop doing it.
We need to decentralize the population, metropoles are poison to society ... they create a smug elite divorced from the nation who do little else but destroy and leech.

The Estonian is correct. Everyone should be an urbanite living on the flesh of Rats, Rock Dove, Roaches, and the occasional "Mystery Meat" link.
In fact, the best thing for everyone is to grow a disdain for people they don't live like.
>countryside tends to be a miserable place full of impoverished brainlets whose only joy in life is getting drunk/high.
Its obvious you've never lived in the country, and enjoyed being able to feed yourself with veggies you grew and cattle/pigs you raised. Too bad OP, you missed a lot.
Lucas Hernandez
Sure would've come all the way over from Germany to Muttmerica to fix their Cultureless jewified Country.
sure lel.

only eastern rural life is shitty western villages are actually the best places you could live in not to say that you couldn't move to a small eastern block village and make it amazing with some capital
Suburbanites who romanticise rural life think everyone are farmers , while like only 10% are actually farmers 40% are poor people made obselete by tractors and 40% are retired city boomers
Caleb Morris
>Ha ha you aren't a smart city folk like me ha ha I went to college while you plowed fields haha you dumb dirty redneck I'm going to make so much money with my liberal arts degree Fuck off, literal Moonshiners are leagues smarter and wiser than any arrogant city folk I've come across.
Connor Harris
Rural life is what you make it - you get the freedom to do what you want without any supervision. Some people got drunk, get high & die - they have the freedom to do that. You have to be strong to survive.
Noah Carter
this a small city/village depending on your definition from here
We don't have poor people in the countryside becuase farmers import Romanians to do all shit jobs now, in America it's the same but with mexicans
Caleb Reed
What about the other ten percent
Asher Diaz
That's because everyone developed cities and neglected the rural areas as a part of policy of urbanization, which was caused in turn by the need to move huge masses of workforce to the cities for industrialization.
Now that it's apparent that big cities inevitable turn into degenerate cesspools coupled with the fact that digital economy, automatization and better transport infrastructure do not require people to be physically huddled all in one urban center to be productive, seeing as 80% of the modern city population is busy in "service economy" aka bullshit jobs you could totally do away with, a reverse policy of deurbanization is now an option and may serve for a great increase in stability and productivity of the society.
Ryan White
I wonder why (((they))) don't what you to be self-sustainable. PAY ME NOW!
>the countryside tends to be a miserable place full of impoverished brainlets whose only joy in life is getting drunk/high
How is this any different from people in the suburbs or city? Idiots getting drunk 'for fun' because they have no real life or personality must make 70% of the general population. Farm kids are getting up at 5 to feed the horses.
Charles Williams
bit more packed and a bit less endemic identity after communist times it's still better than piddog urbanite life
the image is a ranch type farm do you not have villages?
Charles King
>Haha dumb urbanites should be smart like me and love in a town where everyone does meth and lives in trailer parks haha it's so cool and rustic, like a true blooded american
Jack Roberts
Land is £50k an acre here. Another £50k for a cabin, then extra for taxes and utilities. Not a bad deal compared to the city, just takes a while to save for whilst living at home. I want to buy an old water mill, or house by a river at least, and have a microhydro turbine for power
>the countryside tends to be a miserable place full of impoverished brainlets whose only joy in life is getting drunk/high
Cities are exactly the same you fucking faggot
Cooper Hernandez
True but it's like that because the government has neglected rural communities especially devastating were the reforms by Laar in the 90s.
Evan Stewart
Someday we will go to the cities to scavenge gold and silver from the dead. Tick tick urban faggot.
Carson Rogers
>the countryside tends to be a miserable place full of impoverished brainlets
You obviously don't get out of the city much. Cruise through the Indiana countryside sometime and see the nice homes.
Julian Perry
Good point. Privatization and neo-liberal policies essentially destroyed Estonian agriculture.
Brandon Bailey
what annoys me the most is lack of regulation for building codes there might be some very interesting endemic style of architecture in some bumfuck estonian village or whatever that starts disappearing the moment cheaper building materials exist and before you blink everything just looks like burgerstan how the fuck was this allowed to happen?
Christopher Garcia
I spent 1/3 of my life in the country and it only sucks if you don’t have much land and don’t know any private creek spots. Owning a farm would be the best life imaginable
Justin Morris
It would have been better if they had rolled out the reforms slowly instead of the super rapid privatization that created a vacuum and allowed rich buisnesmen to buy up lots of land and left the small farmers shit out of luck. Sadly the mentality of out with the old and in with the new was too strong back then.
Kayden Cruz
Fur real city is where the excitement and cultural enrichment is at.
If you drive through South Estonia you see lots of these abandoned old types of farms that were sometimes 100s of years old. Its a shame what has been done to them. Luckily I still own my family farm and take good care of it.
Jose Gutierrez
>b me, 22 >move to big city >b accountant >10 yr later b married w kid on the way >big city bays 6 figures >big city job now allows bermanent wfh >mobe back hometown, buy 20 acres, 3000sq ft house for the brice of a 2 bd condo in city See people complaining about social media having nothing to do. I ride an atv on my lunch break to get some sun. Sure tho. Keep away. Country bad. We all dub.
from your post I can tell you have never chainsawed a tree down while having a group of neighbors gather to sort potatoes for a mutual trade of commodities between each other while also coming home after a long day of working for yourself and enjoying actual meat from the chicken you killed last tuesday
instead you just sit infront of a computer screen and think you know a goddam thing about life
Jordan Reed
But this is only the case in ex-communist countries. In Western Europe people in the countryside are generally wealthier than those in the cities.
Jordan Fisher
Also the endemic style you are talking about is called "rehetare" and is comfy to live in
Which one is dumber: >fuck farming, i get all my calories from memes >fuck farming, i get all my calories from imported food whilst exporting "financial services"
Justin Lee
>rural life bad jew detected

Is it possible to be a small farmer in Estonia these days? Are there any young people moving back to the land to start small farms, or is it not financially viable?
Maybe that's true of the countryside in Estonia. The English countryside remains lovely as ever
Grayson Rodriguez
Rural living is based AF. It sounds like the only sense of it you have is based purely on (((hollywood))). I can hunt, fish right from my backyard. I have friends who live in the borough who can't even have a small fire in their backyards. If you think living like crabs in a bucket is better than rural living then you're absolutely fucking retarded.
Nicholas Flores
Quit telling people about New Brunswick. That's our secret.
Dylan Howard
>Is it possible to be a small farmer in Estonia these days?
Yes we have a small farmer initiative which allows you to get easier loans and support from government etc
>Are there any young people moving back to the land to start small farms, or is it not financially viable?
It's financially viable but people aren't moving from the city to the countryside but rather the young people in the countryside stay there and start farming instead of moving to the city.
>Fur real city is where the excitement and cultural enrichment is at. Can confirm, living near Gary, Indiana has been the source of most of my excitement.
Benjamin Cooper
Fuck boomer farmers and their very long hours, extremely low pay for brutal, back-breaking work
Charles Collins
>Their farmers are a sort of middle class, especially in the north and mid west Be sure to bring your 5mil$ to start farming today!!!
Levi Bennett
Modern media has pushed for the last 20 years a message that flyover states are filled with stupid people. City people have to continually tell you and each other how important and great they are. I'm glad they clog cities with their junk. It makes rural areas more enjoyable and quiet for those who live there.
Camden Watson
>miserable place full of impoverished brainlets whose only joy in life is getting drunk/high That's just city life with less onions.
Jack Sullivan
As though you would know. Kek.
Christopher Rivera
Pretty obvious you rent a shoebox in the city. Country living is based af.
Feel like getting drunk/high? Go out to your deck. Feel like going out for a rip on a recreational vehicle? Down the road. Feel like fixing your broken turd of a truck/tractor? Walk out to your shop/barn.
Only parts of country living that suck are being a commercial farmer (or industrial, think of cows/chickens/pigs mass farming for companies like Cargill) or if you get in a relationship with a horse girl who isn't from a rich family. I'd post pic related but my chink huawei phones pictures are all 10mb+ and won't upload.
Imagine my Kubota in the field behind my house for context.
Jace Martinez
Americans are leaving cities to move to the country side or smaller towns. But that is because we have a huge commuter economy and a lot of Normie con yuppies, as well as, non Europeans looking for a cheaper cost of living. White people are moving to “middle of the country metros”, exurbs, and rural towns. Non whites are moving to the inner ring of the suburbs. Gentrification is a mere which only applies to neighborhoods which were underdeveloped like Astoria. Hispanic and Black enclaves are still just that, and, those ethnic European and Jewish neighborhoods, unless they’re Hasidim, are getting white flighted to shit. You’d be surprised to know the majority of people under 30 and over 65 are of a healthy body weight, and, state of mind
t. guy who never went to a city to witness true human waste

>miserable place full of impoverished brainlets whose only joy in life is getting drunk/high That's just the whole Eastern-Europe.
Zachary Wright
This. I'm contemplating about leaving my stem office job and learn a trade as a craftsman and fuck off to the country side. I'm sick of these nigger loving liberal city faggots.
Thanks, nice to see it's not all factory farms. One other question, how would you rate the quality of small farms in Estonia? Do they stick with organic/traditional methods? I ask because I spoke with an Estonian once who assured me that the food there is all high-quality but then I heard that glyphosate has been given the green light for use in farming. Bad news...
