Who here has his wisdom teeths removed?

So most of the world except europe has them removed or what?
But how does the jaw expands? Is it when the mouth muscles grow thanks to chewy food the jaw bone adjust to it and get stretched.

My wisdom teeth coming in sideways fucked my mouth up. Teeth are crowded and I've had a fuckload of cavities. It's not all bad I guess. I didn't have a single cavity until I was 13 and then reality hit me like a truck. I floss and brush regularly now. Too little too late tho :(

I had mine removed, they told me I could could die or something if they weren't removed. I guess the xrays did show them not growing the correct direction. I think they overplayed the danger of not removing them though. Dentists are very eager to drill and rip out anything in your mouth

Wisdom teeth are supposed to replace molars that would normally get worn down by diet
Our diet has drastically changed so now they are largely vestigial, and so they come in all fucked up and crooked and shit because the body stopped caring 100 generations ago

In the wild, they had a purpose, but in civilization they really don't

I'm 66 and still have mine. It's a scam to bilk dental insurance and suckers for money.

Same with tonsilectomies. No reason to remove them, it's a medical insurance scam, easy money for psychopathic surgeons.

If you gnaw on bones starting at 10 or 11 you wisdom teeth will be fine.

In my country we have free healthcare and people still remove them

when your teeth are really crowded and crooked, it doesnt matter how much you brush or floss, you won't be able to get into all those oddly weird places the crowded teeth make
so, little cavities form in there, and then its over
