Literally not an argument. If you knew even the slightest bit about the sport you'd know that for years it's been gutted of virtually all physicality and aggressiveness from kids leagues all the way to the NHL due to concerns over concussions and a pandering to women to make it "more palatable".

Back in the day the hits were dirty. Not as much skill involved they would aim for your head or aim to break your knee. You can't have star players on 20 million contracts being injured by cheap shots

Hockey in the 90s was pretty brutal, it’s chilled out but I miss it. The fights were getting ridiculous though. It honestly was detracting from the sport. They just need to find a balance of dirty hits, fights, but good skill and speed.

You can always find ones who are down with it, but these leagues pander like hell to the Karen's of the world and the young people are really anti-physicality and anti-fighting. They don't really know any other style so they love this stuff. Here in Canada it's gotten so gay that we don't even call "Midget" league hockey by that name anymore because some busybody dickheads decided they were assblasted over the term late last year. And you can't watch a game on a Canadian channel where they're not shilling for how "great" women's hockey is, and if you flip over to an American station half the time they're trying to force black people and diversity (but really just black people) on you.

The last two parts might not seem related so much, but it's all part of what has watered down the sport by trying to make it this "fits all" shit product. Same thing with them expanding the teams to dilute the talent and causing rivalries to become less and less of a thing.
