I went to school with bunch of Navy brats from nearby base. They all have some dream that "someday" the military will be "in charge" and that will mean their dads will get to turn all the nice houses and cars into their private property for "official use" and they will outrank even the town cops.

The seasonal flu be worse but unlike the flu it leads to things like pneumonia. A lot of people are unknowingly predisposed to the virus and other illness that it allows due to other health issues. That's why it's worse for older people but most younger people should be okay if they get it and are prepared.
