Reminder to keep the letter Boris sent to you. It'll have a good amount of historical value
Kayden Walker
why does everywhere utterly despise us? and by us, I mean English people. Scots and Welsh as always will get a free pass. Reddit hates us. Pol hates us. Euros hate us Americans hate us It''s draining
not really. there's not really any metric I can think of to be jealous of people from here/living here especially if you live in another European country or North America.
Thomas Ward
Because popular American culture is a perversion of British culture and us existing is a reminder of that.

they're all dead nice in person init they fear and the only way they can express themselves is huddling on the internet

Who cares?

the only people who think everyone hates us are labour voters, are you a labour voter
i still have the "why we need to stay in the EU" booklet from 2016 somewhere. hopefully i'll show the virus letter to my kids/grand kids if that day ever comes
>21% CFR with china's numbers >26% CFR without china's numbers these numbers have been stable for a while now, so it's pretty safe to assume that 26% is lowest possible death rate for this thing. so much for the 3.4% estimate or that
Most people would keep the letter but will probably throw away the envelope but I imagine it would be more valuable as a collector's item if you had both years to come. If Boris does die it's going to add a lot more value to it, the letter was mass produced so it won't be worth a fortune but people could still probably get a small fortune from it.

Kills me every time, and i have a mate of mine who has a proper norf accent, and i sent him this and he read it, he literally shouted the word 'ME' at the end and had me fucking howling
>A tweet claiming the Prime Minister has died is fake
Aaaww, too bad. Better luck next time, corona! We're all rooting for you!

>11% of all confirmed cases in the uk have ended in death >2% of all confirmed cases in the uk have ended in "recovery" you know it's bad when the "recovery" figure is lower than the estimated death rate.

mum: "did you know coronavirus is disproportionately affecting black people?" hmmmmmmmmmm
Why do northerners always put "me" or "that" or "you" at the end of a sentence?
"I'm fucked me" "That's funny that" "You're pissed you"
Cameron Taylor
*0.2% of all confirmed cases have ended in "recovery"

not had regular lager in a while i find that desperados are a nice middle ground wine makes you feel sick and gives you a different buzz/doesn't last long stronger stuff gets you fucked and you don't feel that white hot joy
desperados you can chill out and the evening is more balanced
fashion for beards/clean-shaven works on a cycle, lasting 10-15 years in each phase. basically, when clean-shaven is at it's peak popularity, beard start to become seen as more manly, and so becomes fashionable. until beards reach their peak, and then it switches again to clean-shaven. that's my personal theory btw, make sure to credit me for it when you tell people about it
Asher Garcia
yeah thats fair, desperados is a bit sickly after a while for me

it has its roots in the Danelaw. Nordic and modern Germanic sentences often have that structure.

Weirdly, when ive had a few drinks and im in certain pubs around here, some of the oldies say sussex words etc, so its not exactly dead, its definitely dying ofc, but just needs a few beers for it to come out, maybe when I have kids i'll just speak in sussex around them, try and get it going again kek
