The comet's tail is a few hundred thousand kilometres long, not the comet itself, which is pretty reasonable. The haley comet's tail we passed through in 1910 had a tail length of 22 million kilometres and had a core size of 5,5km. This one seems to have a 10km core and is currently disintegrating into the sun. So it's nothing more than a nothingburger
