the internet I have is already almost instant, there is really no perceivable benefit for me from 5g speeds
I already have 4g speed and it's FINE
sometimes I wonder if maybe being constantly blasted with signals interrupts us, or harms us
normal 4g worries
but it works just fine already

They need the extra bandwidth for driver less cars and shit, if you want to have your Jetsons flying car you need 5G. They have drone type cars capable of carrying passengers now but they will never allow human pilots to fly them over buildings and people.

Well they did just have trucks and a worker up there 2 weeks ago for like a week. Not sure if they were installing 5g or just doing preventive maintenance.

It uses so many antennas for beam shaping. Beam shaping is literally used to reduce energy density in the air and for the cell carriers to save money on electricity. 4g towers track you just like 5g towers do so that when traffic is slow they can just send a beam out to individual users instead of broadcasting a large pattern that wastes power. The higher frequency is a way to move more data in the same period of time. But hey, you nut cases keep on thinking that 5g is for mind control. Nobody can convince you idiots otherwise. You need more towers because at high frequencies, the signal is much more attenuated in the air over distance.

the signal to be somewhere in the sky (outer space). it works well for drones because they;re already in the sky where there are no obstacle.
