It would be interesting if this was used to solve the homeless problem. Imagine if after it's over, no more homeless people. But I also attribute this to our living accommodations. Even in the big cities, people drive to their jobs. No metro sharing or public space walking like in New York. We lived socially distanced already. A couple of patients with possibles and in the ICU they usually tend to have vented patients but there’s no lack of vents. As of right now. Most hospitals are using PACU nurses as backups for ICU since they have some vent experience.
It’s not so much the red counties that are fucked. It’s the blue counties (LA/SF) that will be getting the worst of it
