Most places in US aren't completely on lockdown. Non-essential businesses are closed, but there is no curfew nor police state/martial law, and we permitted to go where we need, including to testing centers and hospitals.

The sick are being told to get tested and seek treatment. The issue is the mainstream media reports claim hospitals are so overwhelmed that there are lines of people awaiting treatment and that the intensive care units are overflowing.

Did you even watch the video in the initial post? The hospitals themselves (the people and administration working them) are saying that they are burning through tons of cash because the elective procedures are on hold, yet almost no one is being treated for corona. So they're just sitting around with the lights on blowing through funds waiting for something that isn't coming.

Even if the bodies were piling in the streets you'd be the first one to claim that the coffins were empty and the body bags had mannequins.

I mean, 7700/day died in 2017 in the USA, why is this suddenly such a burden? It is almost nothing by comparison of normal deaths and those deaths have been reduced during the quarantine, so again, what exactly is this other than a big nothing? I still fall on the side of incompetence and not really malice. I am willing to bet the media drummed up a big nothing cause Trump was saying it was nothing, so they flip flopped and made a huge panic echo chamber. People then had to react or look like heartless assholes and incompetent. The reality is they are incompetent and are just putting on a show. These deaths are relatively nothing compared to what we normally deal with, again, why is this such a burden? Testing is real, but not happening as massively and dramatically as the media is portraying it.
Also--and someone pointed this out in a post above-- like in the Faroe Islands, they are using testing that detects covid of any strain in salmon; that is a big part of the problem with our testing, as in reality it registers as positive if any type of covid is detected. What is called "fudging the numbers."

all are reporting the wait in the emergency room is 20 minutes (usually hours) and you can walk right in to the testing centers with no wait
the government tried to report on a dead nurse but the other nurses asked too many questions and the person in question was not a nurse or even verifiable to exist

I do believe something is crazy wrong about this, but I think it's expected that somewhere around 95% or more of the hospitals in the US would be half full right now for just some of these reasons: the biggest problem areas are big cities where density is highest and the vast majority of the country is not dense and would not be expected to have a massive immediate problem in light of mitigation efforts, elective and non-urgent procedures have been postponed in light of the expectation of a wave of Chinkflu patients, many people are staying home and chilling so everyday car and other accidents are greatly reduced, and people who don't have Chinkflu aren't going to a hospital if they don't have to because normally many poor minorities use the ER as a random doctor office but now I'd think that people are sucking up normal aches and pains just like white males do 99% of the time.
I don't care if somebody goes and films some hospital in the middle of say small-town Montana or Idaho or other great non-dense areas. The key thing is figuring out what's going on in NYC.

I think you've misinterpreted the context of that clip. Give it a watch and that will be eminently clear. He was referring to the hospital staff who also have begun distrusting the mainstream media in their city because what is being reported is not what they themselves are literally seeing as hospital staff.
